Former White House press secretary Tony Snow, has died of cancer, US television station Fox News has announced. Mr Snow, 53, had been suffering from colon cancer, it said.

Snow was a great Secretary. He was loyal and was one of the few that demonstrated politics didn't have to be a dirty business. But then he did have class.

    Goppy I wished all politicians could read the Tony Snow hand book on how to be civil and make politics a noble profession. With their approval rating in the single digits most feel politicians are at the very lowest level of humanity.

  He did fight the good fight. Everyone that speaks of Snow speaks of deep convictions and his character.

He did his job well without getting into the dirt of politics. He was a cut above most in the media.

That is such a shame. Snow was a good man. And not toget all "Aunt Louisie", but why the hell is this not on page one like the story about Tim Russert was???
