Posted by: Wil 1 month, 3 weeks agoThe judge presiding over the Hans Reiser murder trial is backing a deal that would reduce the Linux programmer's 25-to-life term to 15-to-life, authorities said Tuesday. He and his attorneys offered to produce the body if his premeditated, first-degree conviction a jury rendered in April could be reduced to second-degree murder.
