    Yeah like that's going to happen in your lifetime.

    Cannabis would have been legal in Canada a long time ago if it wouldn't have been for the pressure exerted by the US government.

    We almost did it a couple of years ago and then Harper the moron became prime minister a quashed the deal.

    The Le Dain commission recommended legalization in 1970. It's still illegal in Canada, but it isn't prosecuted with much vigour any more.

      It's not that far off the mark for Oregon. Several years ago you could carry up to an ounce on your person and get what amounted to a traffic ticket. Sometimes not even that. Anything over an ounce and you were arrested.
