Iraq PM says he wants timetable for withdrawal »
Posted by: bubba2 2 months agoIraq's prime minister said Monday his country wants some type of timetable for a withdrawal of American troops included in the deal the 2 countries are negotiating. It was the first time that Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has explicitly and publicly called for a withdrawal timetable - an idea opposed by President Bush.

If al-Maliki can hang in there and hold corporate america off until after the election, he will have his timetable. This something that the Iraqi's voted for 18 months ago, but that would derail the gravey train.
