Violence in Afghanistan has risen proportionally to the inattention and non-commitment of this administration to capture OBL and defeat al Qaeda and the Taliban. The focus of our military should have always been in Afghanistan and Pakistan and not diverted to Iraq. Continuing bombings and killings will continue more and more because we allowed our enemy to regroup and refocus once more with an insurgent type of warfare similar to Iraq but without the factional infighting.

You must not have bothered reading it. They suspect it was Pakistan behind it. You know, the same country that has been at odds with India since is seceded from India? Ah, then again, you likely don't know.
"The Afghan Interior Ministry hinted that the attack was carried out with help from Pakistan's intelligence service, saying the attack was 'in coordination and consultation with some of the active intelligence circles in the region.'"
You might have noticed, India has suffered a spate of terrorist attacks as of late. But, then again, you likely didn't notice.
As for the Taliban, they got their collective asses kicked yet again just two weeks ago. Every time they show up in any kind of force, they get slaughtered. Try reading the papers for a change.

Yes I read what the article said. But do you know that extremists in the Pakistani intelligence have helped both al Qaeda and the Taliban since 9/11 in eluding our troops? And I seem to remember that during the Revolutionary War, Washington and his troops got their butts kicked and lost most of their battles except the one that counts.

LIPS: You keep saying it but the facts show you wrong again as usual, yes we beat the taliban, but after 6 years they keep showing up ? HUH? 6 years and each year is worse than the one before, and now you can't even send more troops even though your leader promised 10,000 more, and a new player enters the field, from where ? your flipping ally.
But all is rosy in your little cave isn't it

libsRfunny: "The Afghan Interior Ministry hinted that the attack was carried out with help from Pakistan's intelligence service"
Well, hinting doesn't make it a fact in my book, but even if it's true, does it make it any better if one of the US's allies did the bombing?
Whoever did it, what this attack shows is that the Afghan Government can't even provide security in the capital let alone the whole country, and that's while the coalition troops are there. When will they be able to look after themselves? In decades? Never?
From the article: "Afghanistan has seen a sharp rise in violence from Taliban militants in recent months. Insurgents are packing bombs with more explosives than ever, one reason why more U.S. and NATO troops were killed in June than any month since the 2001 invasion."
Is this progress?

Pakistan ISI (their counterpart of CIA) actively supports, funds and supplies weapons to Taliban. India knows it, Afghanistan Knows it & Russia knows it. Only hypocrite BUSH ignores it as a matter of his foreign policy towards Pakistan.

Since 1947, India has progressed to be the world's fastest growing economy with terrific advances in science, technology and medicine. It is self sufficient in everything except for 25% of oil.
Pakistan is a pathetic display of religious fanatcism, terrorism, suicide bombers and lawlessness.
Pakistan ISI will find anything and everything to hurt India and its progress.
