Oh Boye! Billy Boye Clinton is the one fella we Christian Conservatives LOVE to hate!
Oh yeah ... we realize his stewardship of our nation elevated our standing in the world.
But dag nabbit! Thats why we disliek him!
- He was more of a Fiscal Conservative than our GW.
- He actually reduced the physical growth of goverment.
- He got a handle on Welfare to Work
- He helped middle class with their familys with his 'Family Leave Act'
- He actually took a shot at bin Laden - something our GW aint done
- AND - He actually provided a SURPLUS ... which woulda come in quite handy what with GW's profligate spending habits. ($600 BILLION - and counting) just for Iraq.
We Christian Conservatives have pretty much DEMANDED that McCaIN continue the policies of Goerge W. Bush.
Just so , Obama will more liekly resemble Bill Clinton ... at least as far as his CIVIC responsibilities.

LMAO... I see Guppy is still spewing venom, hatred and outright revisionist lies. Go get 'em, Guppy!!
Keep ignoring the facts to push your twisted brand of ideology/idiotology. Don't forget - Republicans controlled Congress for most of Clinton's time in office and stopped him from ruining the nation. MAybe soon you can become an ordained member of the idiotocracy.
As for this article ...
"'[Obama] has always believed that Bill Clinton is one of this nation's great leaders...'"
He must have meant one of the nation's great followers of polls.
But, given how quickly Obama reverses himself on nearly every issue, I can see how he'd make the mistake of thinking a poll-worshiper like Clinton ever was a leader.

Well Libby...
World view of US and its policy's Clinton vs Bush, 7 yrs.
SORRY! Gotta give that one to Clinton.
"He was more of a Fiscal Conservative than our GW."
Considering that Bush has managed to out spend all previous presidents combined.
Gotta give that one to Clinton also.
"Growth of government under Bush vs Clinton."
You don't want to go there!
Clinton just kills Bush on that one also!

To: John Hinckley
From: Bill Clinton
Dear John,
Hillary and I wanted to drop you a short note to tell you how pleased we are with the great strides you are making in your recovery. In our country's new spirit of understanding and forgiveness, we want you to know there is a bilateral consensus of compassion and forgiveness abroad throughout the land.
Hillary and I want you to know that no grudge is borne against you for shooting President Reagan. We, above all, are aware of how the mental stress and pain could have driven you to such an act of desperation. Hillary and I are confident that you will soon make a complete recovery and return to your family to join the world again as a healthy and productive young man.
Best wishes,
Bill & Hillary Clinton
PS: Barack Obama is screwing Jodie Foster.

i think part of the reason it has taken so long for pres clinton to come to terms with hillary losing the nomination is he views it as a rejection of his presidency.....but thats not what obamas nomination means to me
obama started out with this idea of having an open honest govt, getting big money out of the descion, that idea appeals to many of us and the legislation he got passed (the 2300 dollar) campaign limit has really helped get big money out
i still believe that bill and hill will do the right thing for america and help get obama elected
this election comes down to 1 thing, those who make ovr 250 grand a yr should vote for mcsame, the other 97% of us need to back obama

The liberal media destroyed Bill Clinton in the past few months just to get their favorite Obama elected.

I think there was a lot of bad blood between Bill Clinton and Obama's campaign, mostly of Bill's doing.
Obama took the high road, and he is still doing it, showing magnanimity in his win and showing the respect due the former President, no matter the animosity on the other side.
For the Democrats to win the White House AND a solid majority in both houses of the Congress, it is imperative that the factions bury their hatchets and unify behind Obama. This is one very unique opportunity to get our country back after 8 dark years of absolute and total disaster.

Bill Clinton is just pouting, damn, I'm still pouting, I hate losing..he'll come around or maybe not..Hillary fought like a champ, you have to give her that..I have total respect for her..I felt sorry for her when she was in NH with Obama, you know deep down she is still very disappointed, it's hard to swallow your pride!!Then when Obama said "She Rocks" I wanted to punch him..there's just something about him that makes me very uneasy..

The situation? The Clinton's are and always were a better choice for the modern administration of the United States.
:
Their experience, phenomenal.
Their intelligence, aspiring.
Their support, overwhelming.
:
Unfortunately, sophism is not one of their strong points.
Unfortunately, the media is not for their strong points.
Unfortunately, they weren't perfect enough for an imperfect system.
:
Second best? You decide!
Obama since has!
