No, no, no. George baby, you're beautiful! Worth every penny we spent to get those Christian folks in the midwest and south to vote you in...by a hair!
Another war in Iran! Bring it on! We'll hit our target of oil at $300 per barrel earlier than expected. Ya' gotta know that the profits in futures in oil and grains have been friggin' phenomenal!! Most of us are set for life now. Gotta make hay before that Obama guy and the American public gets any wiser.
We swift-boated that Kerry guy (swayed the election greatly) and we have some BIG surprises for Obama. Last Gallup poll had McCain and Obama at about 45% apiece and tied.
That's gonna change, just you wait, that's gonna change.
Freedom and patriotism are the sweetest things in the world. Especially when all those working suckers are paying the bill.
John McCain will make my tax cuts PERMANENT! I already donated a pile of cash to the RNC to "help" the cause of keeping America safe from terrorists.

Just read that oil hit $143 today. Seemed like yesterday people thought there was no more money to be made in speculating in oil when it hit $135. $143! It's almost erotic!
Just a little eentsy weensy little "disturbance" in Iran in the name of God, freedom, democracy, justice and the American way and that $143 will double quicker than money can disappear in Iraq.
Get on board, little chilluns' get on board!

Nice fake title. About $400 million was appropriated to gather intelligence, and some liberal fool equates that to a "war already begun."
No wonder liberals make me laugh so often.

libby...
Don't many wars start with the gathering of intelligence? Iraq comes to mind, but oh, that was bad intel, wasn't it?
Wonder what happens when we actually get some good intel...guess we'll have to get some first and find out...

Libs,
FTA
"United States Special Operations Forces have been conducting cross-border operations from southern Iraq, with Presidential authorization, since last year. These have included seizing members of Al Quds, the commando arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and taking them to Iraq for interrogation, and the pursuit of "high-value targets" in the President's war on terror, who may be captured or killed. But the scale and the scope of the operations in Iran, which involve the Central Intelligence Agency and the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), have now been significantly expanded, according to the current and former officials."
Sounds a little beyond the oh so benign intelligence gathering you speak of.
To be fair the passage I quoted was buried deep in the second paragraph so you may have tired of reading after the headline.

In addition to disraeli's quotes above, here's another from the article:
" 'The Finding was focussed on undermining Iran's nuclear ambitions and trying to undermine the government through regime change,' a person familiar with its contents said, and involved 'working with opposition groups and passing money.' The Finding provided for a whole new range of activities in southern Iran and in the areas, in the east, where Baluchi political opposition is strong, he said."
What happened the last time we focussed on "regime change"?

Doesn't that set the bar for cult followers pretty low?
I'm just saying that if you look at everything Hersh has reported, all the way back to the Vietnam War, you'll see that he's got good sources and is always reporting the truth.
If this was some random guy, it wouldn't be that big a deal, but because it's Hersh, who has won the Pulitzer for his reporting, it's very scary to me.

..."Good thing we put the Democrats into the majority in congress so they could put a stop to Bush and Cheney's insanity...
Oh. Wait . . .
Sigh."
Which is EXACTLY why it is vital for America's interest to throw out Pelosi and those wussy Dems, get a veto proof Republican majority in both houses, elect John McCain, make the tax cuts permanent and finish what we started in Iraq!

Aidenag: But that was 30 years ago - and who remembers? How many young voters even know, have read about, or have the slightest idea what you are even referring to?
Now, if it had to do with American Idol, or Deal or No Deal, or some hit reality show......hey, that's it! A reality show! A reality show based on the last 7 years of our incredible prosperity at home and success in Iraq. FOX would buy it in an instant.

no they wouldn't. They don't want us to see what's really going on. It's FOX , remember?

If I were the leader of Iran, I think I'd say, "You know that crack I made about sacrificing most of Iran to erase Israel off the map? Hey, I was joking. The Little twerp down the well can STAY there for aNOTHer thousand years, ok? If the 12th Imam is going to come back, he's going to have to do it withOUT a nuclear exchange with Israel. Hezbollah is now HezEbola, and, no more shooting rockets into Israeli neighborhoods.

Covert operations means "we don't know what these people are doing in our name." I think it's time we started investigating our intelligence services for abuse of power.

Which agents did he reveal? Do you think there is anybody on Earth who doesn't know that the US had CIA operatives in Iran, as well as probably in pretty well every country?

Well, Iraq is going backwards after the failed surge, the resistance in Afghanistan is growing rapidly. Bushie needs something new to distract us from his failures.
The Urge to Surge in Iraq
Politics â;; Skip the "good news" part. The "improvement" represents divide and conquer in a colonial fashion; it's barely held together by baling wire and reliant on the destruction of ever more Iraqi neighborhoods. This cannot end well. Not for Washington. Not for the U.S. military. Not for Americans. And, above all, not for Iraqis.

Fisrt of all, We knew that something would be started with Iran from the begining. They have been threatening us, since we went over there.
Second, maybe we should have occupied Iran, first, then if Iraq &Hussein wanted to jack with us we could considered that down the line.
Oh well, what's past is past. Let the shrapnel fly...

Ok libs, now I am not a republican, but what I do want to know is what is your solution on what to do with Iran. All talks including with european countries have failed until now. Instead of hearing you crying about the Bush policies please offer an alternative.
One thing that kept radical Islam from destroying monuments in France is France said straight and simple if an attacked happened they would blow Mecca of the face of the earth. No more threats since then.
How do we deal with this radical in Iran who threatens Isreals existance openly and is in persuit of a nuke. NO LIBERAL CRYING...Please state alternative measures that would work or please shut up.

ROFLMAO! As a libertarian, I don't give a rat's ass about Israel, never have and never will. The U.S. gives Israel billions of dollars every year. Time to rid ourselves of these blood (money) suckers.

If you dont remember it was kuwait and the Saudis that called on us to help fefend them with the Iraq invasion of Kuwiat. I served on the ground in that war. A cease fire was made under conditions. Conditions that were not uphold. It was the radical islamics that declared war on us.
I know what a libertarian believes , but it leaves little on the subject of national defense. One of your libertarians is MANCOW on the radio, but atleast he has the common sense to realize we are at war. These nuts will like to see us all dead or living under they're law. It is not thousands of Americans flowing into their countries trying to change the way we live. If you are a libertarian what good will your belÃ;Æ;Ã;¶iefs be when the constitution is no longer anything but a discarded piece of paper.

Do you have any clue as to why Iraq attacked Kuwait? Big Oil was in Kuwait and they were slant drilling into the oil fields of Iraq and stealing their oil. I guess that would rile up anybody. Unfortuantely, it sounds like you took some strapnel to the head while you were there. My sympathies, of course. Its too bad that people in the U.S. blindedly walk lock in step with the government when the government tells lies. Heaven knows, how many lies have their been from the Retard now in office? ROFLMAO!!!!!!!

Do you have any ideas of the rapes and killings that went on in Kuwait when Iraq attacked?
Also believe it or not America is also very much dependent on foriegn oil.
We are living in a world market, the world is a small place today as you can see with the internet. Russia isolatating itself from the world caused the down fall of the Soviet Union.
You are really decieved to think that there is NO Islamic threat to the USA. They hate US. Not just for our policies but for our way of life. You are nothing to them and YES they would like to see you dead. I have been there. I have talked with Muslims through out Europe. They are all just waiting for Islam to have the upper hand. I must also they are becomming it also. The liberals pressing for the rights of those who want to kill us.
Take a look at the monument that is supposed to be a memorial for those killed in the plane in Penn. it Is a Islamic symbol facing Islam. It is a disgrace to the heros that were killed in that plane.
