Hundreds Trapped Inside Phillipine Ferry Feared Dead. Rescuers halted efforts on Monday night to find nearly 800 people missing from a capsized ferry in the Philippines as darkness fell and large swells prevented divers from drilling holes into the doomed vessel.

      Wonder if the weather or man is the cause of this disaster? Many times it's the exceeded capacity that capsizes a ferry in choppy seas. Hope there are more survivors.

        Typhoons/hurricanes are bad news. A boat has to be big enough and be facing the right way at all times to survive. During WW2 we lost some destroyers to them.

            the government has announced an inquiry but nobody will be held accountable, it's all just for the show. this kind of tragedy happens year in year out. such is the value of life in a corrupt third world country
