Congress finds Big Oil holding back fields that could DOUBLE US output »
Posted By yurbud 4 months ago in NewsRush Limbaugh and other righties have blamed high oil prices on limits on off-shore drilling and in ANWR, but Congress has found that big oil ISN'T drilling on leases they hold now that could DOUBLE US output and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Rep. Nick J. Rahall (D-WV) today introduced a bill that tells them to "use it or lose it."

Seems like the oil companies need to utilize land already available for drilling before we go giving them whole new areas to leave idle.
