    Of course the detention of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has been "overshadowed by the deaths of 135,000 people and the very real prospect that twice as many more may die if aid is not delivered when and where it is so desperately needed. The tragedy which has struck her country is the bigger story, and its urgency requires priority in reporting.
