It's still just about the benjamins but then, why not ?

Looks like a good start towards better future think.

It's about time. There is a definite need for an alternative to MySpace and Facebook. Bebo is pretty decent now, but this should help it become even better. (And "no", I don't work for AOL. This is just an opinion.)

FTA

"We're not going to care where the content comes from. We're just going to put the right stuff in front of the right people."

...

Grant's remarks were the subject of some animated discussion at the concluding cocktail party.

****

It took a few drinks before it sank in and before someone had the courage to ask, rhetorically: "So you really don't give a flying f*** what the heck is in there as long as someone buys it?"

Did anyone hear cutting-edge, creativity, excellence, ground-breaking or was it cookie-cutter, same-old, business-as-usual?

850 mill.. jeez - I could get you a very decent brewery for that and we could offer free REAL beer for propellerites for a year.

Now that would create some customer loyalty and satisfaction!

Nothing like a bit of jolly diversification..

If, as you intimate, they don't care about quality content, they probably shouldn't interfere with the product or its' producers. Let them evolve as they can and might be they'll do something worthy ? It's still got to be about the benjamins 'cause ain't nuthin' free.
