WHY SHOULD WE BE SURPRISED. EVERYTHING ELSE THE ARMY AND THIS ADMINISTRATION HAS TOUCHED HS GONE SOUR. IF ANYONE WATCHED THE HEARINGS ON THE VA IN RE ON SUCIDES AND LISTENED TO BARE FACED LIES BY THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE YOUR STOMACH SHOULD TURN. WHERE ARE ALL THE WE SUPPORT OUR TROOPS PEOPLE SCREAMING FOR THE HELP OF THE FEW POOR SOULS WHO ARE THE ONLY ONES FIGHTING THE WAR. WE CAN WORRY ABOUT GAS PRICES AND MORTGAGES BUT IT IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE COMBAT EXPERIENCE.THE REAL MYSTERY IS HOW ANYONE CAN SUPPORT THIS ADMINMISTRATION

I don't think this administration has a lot to do with the weather. These levees were built several years ago and were to contain the waters for that time. Just look at the amount of concrete and asphalt is in these areas today. This will speed up the run off of these rivers and the 500 year flood happens many times too often. People all to often try to contain Mother Nature and build there homes and business in worst of places. I live in a small town and the highway has been rebuilt over the last 30 years and it is over 12 inches higher than when originally built, these businesses flood now more than they ever did. Army Core had nothing to do with this, DOT was behind this.
