News – Microsoft Corp gauged Facebook's interest in a possible acquisition after the software giant's failed takeover attempt of Yahoo Inc, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

This has to be a ploy to pressure Yahoo. Facebook users were upset when Microsoft purchased less than 3% of the company. How are they going to feel if Microsoft takes control?

Pobably they would be really upset when Microsoft is trying to gain full control over Facebook. This would fully destroy the community character and perhaps make some users leave the community.
