As a mother and a Grandmother I cannot imagine the pain the family went through. This war is necessary, and our best, and brightest are waging it, and our prayers go out to each and every one of the people protecting this country.

It'd be nicer if you left your opinions out of it. Our prayers will always go out to those engaged in warfare, but to say this war was or is necessary in any way is disgusting pandering. As for their being the best and brightest, I don't think that's true. Though certainly the most brave of many of our citizenry.
