FTA: "WASHINGTON - The U.S. military mistakenly shipped four triggers for nuclear missiles to Taiwan, the Pentagon said on Tuesday. It said the items have been returned to the United States.

The military was supposed to ship helicopter batteries to Taiwan but instead sent fuses used as part of the trigger mechanism on missiles.

At a Pentagon news conference, Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne said they were delivered from a U.S. Air Force base in Wyoming to Taiwan in March 2005".
