DMX Has Never Heard Of Barack Obama »
Posted By universal12 6 months, 3 weeks ago in NewsThis is hard to imagine someone, at this stage of the campaign, that doesn't know who Barack Obama is. My four-year-old niece knows who he is, but DMX doesn't. He's been too "busy". Here's a snippet from an interview he just did with XXL Magazine.

Don't hold anything against DMX because some people really feel this way. Sense he is a rapper/artist he is probably on the road a lot and does not watch a lot of TV. Don't be surprised because I am sure if you interview people off of the street there will be some people who doesn't know who he is or do not get involved in politics that much. I am not saying that I agree with this viewpoint but, everyone has the right to their opinion and that is why we are in America.

Don't apologize for this idiot... what, he never sees a newspaper or talks to other people? His ignorance is a result of being wrapped up in his own pathetic little world.
I'd think that he might be interested in what happens to the hundreds of thousands of dollars he pays in taxes every year.
Fortunately for America, I doubt if he ever votes.

Well, he pled guilty to 13 counts of animal cruelty in '02 (neglected pitbulls) - then in '07 again, 12 pit bulls and 3 buried in the backyard, one burnt.
With lyrics like ...
"Place your bets/You can imagine what the bloodline is like" and "All my pups is crazy, 'cause off the leash/They can eat, stand a match for three hours at least" - and promoting "Game Dog Pro" dog food?
... c'mon.
It's actually pretty hard to prove dog fighting, and so many cases end up as misdemeanors due to plea bargaining.

True, but that doesn't mean just because he is a rapper doesn't mean he is not intelligent. These are the mentalities of some of the people in the world that things like this don't matter. Rappers can be inspiring to a lot of people and DMX believe it or not through all of the legal situations, I heard he does make religious songs and positive songs. DMX matters to the younger generation and the older generation has to take that into consideration.

The era of GANGSTA rappers filling children's heads with "kill the cop kill the Ni*ger kill the cop kill the nig*ger nig*er nig*er,"(black artist, white skinhead fans) or "with my gat in your ear you got something to fear," and "if the ho don't go you cut her some mo'" are about OVER.
Same with the Fundamentalist Christians spreading anti-gay hate and fear.
YOU ARE BOTH OVER.
The rap format is fine. Its fusion with soul in the last decade has given it a little humanity.
No more hate as entertainment.
