According to published reports, Governor Eliot Spitzer has informed his senior officials that he has been involved in a prostitution ring. The New York Times is reporting that Spitzer will make an announcement on the matter after 2 p.m. today.

BoBo, your old nemesis here, but congrats on your thoughts. That's exactly what I've been saying for some time now. It matters not what political party. I am PO'd at any politician who swears one thing, but does the opposite. Further, my Texican friend, I think America is finally getting tired of all this jive from the very people who make and enforce our laws. When did God grant them imunity from the truth??? That's why we invoke that name with America. We promised to speak the truth...and they lied.
Dude, we do need a big change in our politics. I want someone unafraid of the truth. I want someone who will speak to you with the truth. If we can't find it in Washington, I say throw everyone out on their ass and start anew.

Ma'am, (mcgievyer) you speak wisely. Forgive my ignorance, but I was born in the south. That's the only way I know to show my respect.
But on the the subject matter, was she charging $5,500 a pop (forgive moi nasty word)? Tax free? Do we know if he used tax-payers bucks to "pop" that? Damned, My old Harley was a whooping $9,000, before taxes!!! Now, she could really boogie!
Sorry, wrong story. Some women are worth the bucks, like my ol' flat-head. BUT, she could flat ride for days, poor dude's (Spitzer) woman could run all night, but just one night. Call me nasty, but I love women who can fly...for months (like me old 28'footer): give her full sheets (sails) and she could circumvent this planet on nothing but wind. Now, she was a real lady!!!! And worth every penny of her beautiful bottom.

well, they ought to legalize prostitution. it would keep it safer and cleaner... and keep our court costs down.
I don't think this man was right for the job of governor. and, not because of the prostitution ring...it's because he wanted to give illegal aliens licenses to drive. he's bad news...

Safer? Cleaner?
What is safe or clean about prostitution? There is nothing safe or clean about it. It is filthy, and many women who do it, do not wish to do it; they think they have to do it. And ALL men who use, and I mean, "use" prostitutes are more guilty than the prostitutes are and should be arrested and put in jail.

Ohhhhhh .. he's a democrat. Guess we found their future running mate for Vice-President. Seems whenever a Dem is caught red-handed, he or she gets promoted. Like Harry Reid, John Murtha, Dianne Feinstein, both Clintons, Barney Frank, etc. etc.
Hmmm .. haven't heard much about Congressman William "Cold hard Cash" Jefferson. Gonna have to see how his scandal is proceeding.
