FTA:
"The bill Congress sent me would take away one of the most valuable tools in the war on terror," Bush said in his weekly radio address taped for broadcast Saturday. "So today I vetoed it," Bush said. The bill provides guidelines for intelligence activities for the year and includes the interrogation requirement. It passed the House in December and the Senate last month.
"This is no time for Congress to abandon practices that have a proven track record of keeping America safe," the president said.
Does Bush really think that waterboarding, interrogations, etc are the reason we haven't been attacked again?
IMO, if he does, he is even more nuts than i originally thought.

He aint nuts not2needy! Hes stayin true to his fake Christian Conservative ideeology.
- advocatin Torture,
- Pre-emptive war,
- lyin to make the case for the war,
- expandin spy programs to look into private American lives,
- makin shure those who do the spyin are held unnaccountble,
- makin shure kids dont get health care,
- cuttin fundin for head trauma care for injured soldiers,
Its all part of the craaazie Neo-Con philosophie of crazieness that we Christian Conservatives support!
Im so glad we Christians dont believe in Jesus no more. We much prefer this craaazie neo-con ideeologie!

Oh, I just remembered - John McCain dont support torture liek GW does.
Hmmm. Thats gointa be a problem for us Christian Cosnervatives in teh upcomin election.
You know, us Fundamentallist Christian Conservatives supported GW by 96%! Im not shure we ken support a candidate that dont adhere to the Constitution as interpreted by our GW.
The only thing I can imagine that would make John McCain abhor torture is that he was actually a soldier.
He was actually a prisioner.
He was actually tortured.
So he understands that if WE torture, we caint complain when other countries torture OUR sons, OUR daughters.
Essentially, we become no better than Al Queda.
Course, since Gw dint never serve as a real soldier (he let others of his generation do that) - he dont haveta have a clue bout the dangers to our soldiers.

Hahaahahaahahaaaha.
Put money into the pockets of the wealthy while the needy are told they don't work hard enough.
Make sure that abortions are illegal but then deny the children heath care.
Torture others so we may be safe? WTF, yeah the rest of the world must view us as having an insane leader.
With a populace of know nothing consumers who care very little aboutthe rest of the world.
For all you Bush backers out there, No more lies.
Here it is, you backed the servant of the devil who claimed to be serving God. Still can't see it? Open your eye's.
I pray for Bush, I pray he will realize that he must stop the insanity or go to hell for his ways.
I hate his ways not him.
That's the difference between Bush and true Christians, we want others to come to Christ for their own well being.
Not for wealth or power.
Money, wealth, power all die with you on this earth. Your acts of kindness towards your fellow man live on.

You guys have missed the whole point.
It's a tool.
Not a heavily used tool.
In fact it's only been used
THREE TIMES
that number again: 3.
And those three are the masterminds of 9/11.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR ANY TOOL TO BE THROWN OUT OF THE BOX ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS USED ONLY UNDER THE MOST DIRE OF CIRCUMSTANCES.
God Bless us all that we have a president that understands that!

It is a tool that doesn't work.
It is a tool that guarantees the mistreatment of captured Americans for generations.
It is a tool that helps to recruit more terrorists.
It is a tool that makes it less likely that other nations will share their intelligence with us.
It is a tool whose use is a violation of our laws and constitution.
It is a tool that is morally repugnant and lessens America's standing in the world.
God help us that we have a president that doesn't understand any of that.

Locky12:
So by that philosophy, it is alright for other nations to use that same format.
Then torture should be a tool all nations use to prevent terrorism right?
Excuse me. Torture is terrorism!!!
By allowing it you are saying it is OK to use it for our ways but not for others to use it for their ways.
Again who decides who is the one to be tortured? Our government, who is taking our very rights to fredom away.
Nah, no thanks. I'll fight for freedom the old fashioned way.
I'll go to war if needed to secure our freedom not for profits for the wealthy.
I'll make the president accountable for his actions and not hide behind the patriotic flag waving drivel of the coward.
The true patriots of this nation know that we can survive an attack by our enemies. But not an attack on our freedoms by our own government.
So wave your flag at the correct way to do things, not the freedom robbing ways of Bush.
