"Looking sunburnt and tired, Harry was seen chatting with fellow soldiers as he walked down the steps carrying his backpack on one shoulder and crossed the tarmac.

Harry was one of about 170 soldiers who arrived back from Afghanistan this morning."

Ooh, ooh, ooh! I forgot to tell yall, there's two slideshows. The one I'm referring to is the second one. It's much better than the first one. It's toward the bottom of the page.

These snapshots in the slideshow are absolutely beautiful. They really capture your heart. He looks just like his mother and I know she is smiling down on him right now, just beaming with pride.

He is a good man.

He's becoming a man. How difficult it must be to be groomed to be a Royal.

good too see you spread your synchophantcy -I think I made that word up - but it works - internationally AG. I heard the Dalhi Lama is hot -do a mantra for him

More B.S.propaganda...he was likely 1,000miles from any harms way!!!!

avatar

Yeah, just like they did with Armstrong walking on the moon EH! but have they ever improved on the technology right....

As if!

I really like that kid!

Red hair, freckles and sunburnt, just a cutie pie!

How in the world did Charles produce such good looking boys??

Yes AG, i know Diana is beaming with pride in her sons right now. Great kids.

avatar
Reply

I know! Don't ya just wanna reach out and give him a big ole hug? He is just precious. Beautiful child.

avatar
Reply

Yeah AG, he looks like some members of my family with that red hair and freckles. I could give him a big hug for sure.

Don't wear the boy out, save one for me.

But be careful; 45 minutes from my back door is the second biggest British Army Base in the world; 1200 sq. miles of bald ass ed prairie for the Brits to play war and a few months back Harry was here with his unit and got himself in a bit of hot water as he took a waitress home one night and got into a little spanking mood with her, like his uncle, Randy Andy I guess

lol, WHAT???

You never heard that????

Wow, you can't do anything these days without it being sold to the papers. I'm glad all this easy access media and internet wasn't around when I was 23! ; )

He was just a guy on the prowl, doing what many guts do in a strange town, chase women, only because of his title was this even written about.

BTW, the barmaid he first hit on but struck out with, sold her side of what happened for $30,000, while the second only got a slap on the ass, she should sue....LMAO

Hey the internet was here last year wasn't it?

avatar
Reply

Hey Harry, feel up to a second tour of duty? C'mon! I know you can do it!

avatar
Reply

lol, you're so cute, HB. :D

avatar
Reply

Yes he's got the cutest little chubby fingers.

;o)

Jealousy will get you nowhere lol

avatar

I'm glad he is safe...

Debra...

Hero? What did he do? People certainly toss that word around carelessly. Claiming some guy is a hero because he spent ten weeks in Afghanistan (doing his job, no less) not only detracts from, but INSULTS those who are true heroes.

All soldiers are heroes.

For the benefit of Mr. Kite

There will be a show tonight on trampoline

The Hendersons will all be there

Late of Pablo-Fanques Fair, what a scene

Over men and horses hoops and garters

Lastly through a hogshead of real fire!

In this way Mr. K. will challenge the world!

The celebrated Mr. K.

Performs his feat on Saturday at Bishopsgate

The Hendersons will dance and sing

As Mr. Kite flies through the ring don't be late

Messrs. K and H. assure the public

Their production will be second to none

And of course Henry The Horse dances the waltz!

The band begins at ten to six

When Mr. K. performs his tricks without a sound

And Mr. H. will demonstrate

Ten somersaults he'll undertake on solid ground

'ving been some days in preparation

A splendid time is guaranteed for all

And tonight Mr. Kite is topping the bill.

Harry's a sideshow...

I can see you're point but face it PHB, as long as Harry has got royal blood, he is fodder for the press, and the media so ergo all the attention is going to draw on him. I heard he got along swell with the rank and file so he didn't carry on like a pompous, arrogant schmuck so that tells me he's earned the well deserved praise from all.

Plus, he helped kill 30 Taliban members.

30 with a single blow - yeu sayz! 'at's the stuff of fairytales, AG. A regula Custer ee is oh right! Wot eh? A toast to 'arry the orse! Ee 'as the royal touch yew know..

"But the earliest reference to this king as a healer by the touch was made by the English historian, William of Malmesbury (1095-1143), in his work, "De Gestis Regum Anglorum." The story, wrote Joseph Frank Payne, M.D., in "English Medicine in the Anglo-Saxon Times," has the familiar features of the legends and miracles of healing by the early ecclesiastics, saints, or kings, as they are found in the histories and chronicles from the time of Bede, the Venerable (673-735). But there appears to be no real historical evidence that Edward the Confessor was the first royal personage who healed by laying on of hands."

dg, while entertaining, I feel the general direction of your comments is, er, disingenuous.

In addition to all the positive views written in the earlier posts, by all accounts the Prince is also quite a decent "bloke" to go out and have a few beers with.

That was a great Cockney accent. Emphasis on the first syllable.

hahah omg! too funny!

He would make a fine King of England!

Good story AG, thanks.

avatar
Reply

He can't, he's gotta wait until something happens to big bro billy there.

avatar
Reply

Well I hope nothing bad happens to either of them.

Their Father, Charles, remains in the way of both of them; and surveying the genes in the Windsor family (his grandmother reached 101, his Mother is steaming along at 80 or more, and still dispensing her "Royal duties", whatever they are) either William or Harry could have along wait!

He seems to have a different temperament than his brother. A story yesterday had Harry saying that he really didn't like England a lot nor the things they write in the newspapers there. He seems to be of strong character or as the brits would say, "made of good stuff"and he's a likable bloke.

avatar
Reply

I like that word "bloke". It seems to fit Harry perfectly.

Despite enduring what must have been a stifling upbringing in the British royal family, he seems to have become a very down to earth "bloke". Good on 'im!

avatar
Reply

Good on Harry!

The Sun is a rag publication. How wonderful the media leaked Harry's tour of duty causing it to be cut short. Look at the second picture: "Wills and comrades cross tarmac" They can't even get his name straight. Poor Harry, we still think you are great!

Who else could get Prince Charles to welcome him home?

Way to go Harry.

The world needs more real princes like Harry -- diamonds in the rough later shine more brilliantly.
