Bush praises Kosovo independence

News – U.S. President George Bush on Monday expressed support for Kosovo's independence but stopped short of promising recognition by the United States."The Kosovars are now independent. It's something I've advocated," Bush said on NBC's "Today" show during his visit to Africa.
