It's a wonder that the "mob" here in the U.S. hasn't taken to blowing up cops in bunches. I'm not sure it's REALLY effective, but someone seems to think it is.

Anyone here think we should leave the middle east alone and let Al Quaeda take over with all this suicide bombing? Well if you do then ur an idiot.

Maybe we should have finished the job in Afganistan and got Bin Ladin instead of heading off to Iraq where we are now mired. And just to remind you Al Queada wasn't in Iraq until we let them in. (and don't give me all those old dead links about Salmon Pac because that has been thoroughly debunked and even the President has stated it had nothing to do with Al Queada).

This is only the beginning. Pakistan is in a spiral of violence that will be very dangerous to all of us. Protect the nukes!

Wow, Charlson. You've sure changed YOUR tune.

Are you sure you don't want to cut and run from the Middle East, like you've always advocated? Gee, I can't IMAGINE why the U.S. should stay there, anymore. I mean, the entire region just seems so calm and peaceful these days. There's no REASON to keep troops or aircraft carriers there. In fact, let's just give up our oil interests and let Iran and Pakistan and Syria take over. They're all so friendly with each other and the rest of the world - - I'm sure they'll see to it that peace is secured and everyone gets a fair shake.

This is not news. I want to here reports of somebody figuring a way to stop it before it's too late.

Someday the headlines will read something like, "_____ CITY DESTROYED BY SMUGGLED TERRORIST NUKE."

We should send an invitation to the Repugnant Party to send McCain and all the other hawks to Pakistan and run for office. We kill two birds with one stone, the hawks will perpetrate their insanity on another country and we have ridden ourselves of their leadership qualities here.

They are such bad A@@@@ they can win a war anywhere!!

Second thought, McCain can legalize all the illegals and they can assist him in this fight. Why its killing three birds with one stone.

Now under his leadership in Pakistan the incident above where 22 people were killed he can then say, casualties are minimal, we are winning, lets continue the fight.

Only 11 million barrels of oil a year. What is its cost and what is 25% of that cost. That is what Bush, Cheney and Blair are making every year.

India had been warning the US that Pakistan is THE hot bed of all terrorism, terrorist training schools and had even provided air surveillance photos.

Well according to the cowboys, Pakistan is an important partner in fight against terrorism.

              Take your pick.

nikki - The strange anomaly concerning Pakistan is that we yet till this very day give them billions for doing nothing. Is Bush capable of accomplishing any feat that benefits America? India is the country we should be aligned with but I'm just a peon among glorious leadership both of recent and current.

Musharraf's government is losing control over more and more territory -- the tribes inhabiting the borderlands with Afghanistan and their Islamic extremist safe havens have more in common with the Taleban than any democratic forces in Islamabad.

Very hard to see how the slow slide to chaos can be averted. Pakistan seems to be disintegrating. Is another Afghanistan developing, on India's western frontier?
