Actually, I'm surprised this wasn't instituted earlier. Especially with respect to the Luxor casino in Vegas.

That would be the longest copyright ever...
From 2500BC till 2008? Even with crooked US copyright laws objects are limited to 200 years.
Plus haven't they heard about pyramids in Mexico, South America, China?
I would not pay a dime. Let them claim copyright that does not leave Egypt.
