As Israelis, Palestinians head to Annapolis, Syrians sign…

News – President Bush will preside at a dinner on Monday night in Annapolis, Md., that will mark the beginning of the first major international peace efforts between Israelis and Palestinians since the Clinton administration. The Associated Press reports that Bush is scheduled to make a speech that reiterates his support for the peace process, but that is unlikely to contain any new proposals.

The result will be a big "0". You cannot invade, occupy and destroy a muslim country and hold a peace conference for the same region.

LOL

I agree with you about the results but for a different reason. Since 1948 when Israel, Jordan, and some others were created the Arabs surrounding Israel have had several Jihads with Israel. They still give Israel no right to exist. There were several wars to drive the Jews into the sea and kill them there.they have shelled and bombed Israel during times of "peace". Palestinians were created by the Muslim countries when they refused to allow the Muslims who left the war zone as requested in 1948. They did what they were told to do and then hung out to dry.

How do you negotiate with someone who says they need to kill you. That is what Palestinians and Muslim countries around Israel are saying.

Ah My! Endo still trying to cover up zionist crimes against humanity with lies. Time to join sane israelis in ending the holocaust in palestine by ending the zionist state.

The ethnic cleansing of Palestine

by Ilan Pappe

University of Haifa, Israel

The book shows that in 1948, the Zionist movement waged a war against the Palestinian people in order to implement its long term plans of ethnic cleansing. The Arab world tried to prevent this cleansing, but was too fragmented, self-centered and ineffective to stop the uprooting of half of Palestine's native population, the destruction of half of its villages and towns and the killing of thousands of its people.

avatar

cont'd

And since that ethnic cleansing was successfully implemented in almost 80% of Palestine without any global or regional repercussions - the ethnic cleansing policy continues ever since 1967 in the remaining 20% of the country. Creating a Jewish state in historical Palestine cleansed of Palestinians is still the ideolgoical infrastructure on which the state of Israel is based.

... The book uses the accepted scholarly definition of Ethnic Cleansing to show its academic as well legal applicability to the case of Palestine and argues that since in the eyes of the world - including the State Department and the UN - ethnic cleansing is a crime against humanity, this how we should view the Israeli actions in the past and ISrael's policies in the present...

I take it from your comments that you are not interested in seeing a peaceful Palestinian State nor a state of Israel in the middle east? It is ironic that the Palestinian leadership, other Arab Nations and Israel are talking Peace yet people like you and others on this board scoff at the notion and appear to also be opposed to it. Yet you will sit there and write your propaganda about your conspiracy theories asking for a Palestinian state yet only if there is no Israel.

Would you have regarded Hitler retaining Poland, Czechoslovakia, Austria and Italy as a just outcome? Why do you insist on rewarding zionists for similar crimes?

avatar
Reply

I take it you are for the destruction of Israel and for the extermination of all Jews...It is a bit ironic that you mention Hitler in your post.

avatar
Reply

Nope, I am for applying the same criteria to all peoples independent of race or religion. The eastern european zionists initiated their campaign of invasion and ethnic cleansing in the same atmosphere of 19th century racism, colonialism and totalitarianism that gaveus nazism, stalinism and zionism. They knew at the time that this would involve massive ethnic cleansing (see below). The same as the world ended Hitler's government, the world now needs to end the zionist government of israel and establish a single country of Palestine. This no more implies killing all jews than the ending of Hitler implied killing all Germans. That you refer to such things indicates that you have no valid arguments for continuing zionist crimes against humanity.

Jewish Criticism of Zionism

... Israel Zangwill, eventually turned against the idea of establishing a Jewish state in Palestine. Ironically it was Zangwill who coined the phrase "a land without a people for a people without a land."

It was not until 1904 that Zangwill realized that there was a fundamental problem with the Zionist program. In a speech given in New York in that year he explained:

There is. . . a difficulty from which the Zionist dares not avert his eyes, though he rarely likes to face it. Palestine proper has already its inhabitants. The pashalik of Jerusalem is already twice as thickly populated as the United States, having 52 souls to every square mile, and not 25 percent of them Jews; so we must be prepared either to drive out by the sword the tribes in possession, or to grapple with the problem of a large alien population, mostly Mohammedan...15

HITLER was not atatcked by the neighboring nations and subjected to suicide bombings in downtown Berlin shopping areas/.>It is insulting to anyone to bring Hitler into the discussion when those who do so have NEVER supported the right for ANY jewishlike people to reside in the region, yet all of the agriculture and irrigation brought to the area from a people who only wanted to bring their children up in safety and have NEVER been given the chance..You call this Arabic leadership, when the only commands that they give are "kill" or "attack"??

Where are your great leaders who can create a peaceful co-existance?? They killed Sadat for that very reason.

Now you have israeli extremists, who are also koos, but that

is what you get when you cannot support human compromise.

Oh, you don't believe in a peaceful co-existance??..

That explains it all!!

I suppose BinLaden should be given diplomatic immunity, right?

CoffeeCake,

You should learn a bit of history.

>>HITLER was not atatcked by the neighboring nations and subjected to suicide bombings in downtown Berlin shopping areas

Before the creation of Israel, Muslims, Jews & Christians lived relatively peacefully until the creation of Israel by driving out or killing Arabs - both Christian & Muslim.

>>You call this Arabic leadership, when the only commands that they give are "kill" or "attack"?

Do you forget the Arab initiatives in the early '90s? They offered Israel peace for its removal of its occupying forces from Arab & Palestinian lands, and for its freezing settlement expansion in the Palestinian territories. Israel, even tho it's been claiming wanting peace, has completely ignored these agreements.

Before you scream, I'm NOT saying the Arabs are blameless. But you HAVE to realize that neither is Israel. After 60 years of this sht, both sides have a lot to answer for.

avatar
Reply

Of course Israel is not blameless. They are festering more and more hatred and being commanded by more and more extremists jews. The longer it takes for a plan to work the more suicide bombers can and have derail it..

If I were deciding on behalf of Israel I would have accelerated peace talks EVERY time there was a suicide bomb..Not stop them..That is what the bombers wanted>>

Israeli leadership has been foolish..

avatar
Reply

We can agree on that. Extremists on both sides have been beyond stupid on this.

Unprovoked attacks on Israel do nothing but give Israel reasons to further militarily strengthen its hold on the Palestinian lands.

And on the Israeli side, mass punishment for the acts of a few does nothing but increase antagonism of the masses against Israel - increasing the number of those willing to attack.

Vicious cycle all the way around.

> ...And on the Israeli side, mass punishment for the acts of a few does nothing but...

I'm not sure what you're talking about but during a war the attacked cares LESS about the punishment of the attacker and MORE about ending this and preventing future attacks. This means, among other things, neutralizing enemy soldiers, destroying his weapons and means to make these weapons, etc... even if these soldiers, weapons and means are being hidden among civilian population and infrastructure.

There are idiots believing that the attacked has to "accelerate peace talks EVERY time" he/she is attacked. Unfortunately, history proves that this approach is not effective. Even if someone tried it in the future he/she was killed prior to this epochal event being recorded.

avatar
Reply

>>I'm not sure what you're talking about but during a war the attacked cares LESS about the punishment of the attacker and MORE about ending this and preventing future attacks.

So your idea is to basically kill everyone for the crimes of a few, whether they sympathize w/you or not. And "history proves" that this does nothing but engender more opposition to your cause.

By your thinking, the Columbine kids should've had their whole neighborhoods destroyed because they shot up their school.

Brilliant.

avatar
Reply

> So your idea is to basically kill everyone for the crimes of a few, whether they sympathize w/you or not.

No. My idea is to fight back when attacked. It is called self-defense. When the fight is over it will be possible to sort the "few" remaining criminals out of the remaining "sympathizers". Is it clear enough?

avatar
Reply

Self defense is 1 thing. Killing innocent bystanders is something completely different. And how are you going to sort the innocent dead children from the guilty dead?

Face it. Your whole premise is, "Kill anyone near the person that pi$$ed me off!" That's what exacerbates the situation. If you don't realize that, you are NOT a thinker.

avatar
Reply

Gotta agree with you Papa. the dog keeps chasnig the tail

and the Israeli's have (hundreds, not dozens of times)

stopped negotiations when there is suicide bomb assault..So, pretty simple, those who killed Sadat, and those who do not want peace in Israel can just commit violent acts and they get their way!! Immediately the talks come to an end and their work is done! They won again....

Then if the Israeli extreme haters want to stop the talks they shoot their Prime Minister..

Israel is a lot bigger than just one city.

if they can internationalize Hong Kong, The Vatican and

Berlin, they can internationalize Jerusalem.. After all,

is Washington DC in Virginia or Maryland?

Who cares?? (although with all the violent crimes there, that might be a bad example)..

avatar
Reply

> And how are you going to sort the innocent dead children from the guilty dead?

You don't. Unfortunately no one has the magic weapons able to sort the innocents from the guilty, even the Israelis. This is the reason Arab terrorists use innocent civilians as shields knowing that there are idiots who will say that the Jews have to let themselves to be murdered to save Arab civilians. Those having some brains realize that violent terrorists are extremely dangerous and standing next to them can be deadly.

Hyperbola, you are absolutely, without a doubt, the most pathetic thing that ever crawled on this planet. You have absolutely no knowledge base of your own, couldn't exist on a blog site without Google, and up until and including today, have never used a credible source to back up anything that you have to say. You are a pathetic character and a perfect example why there will be no peace treaty coming out of this or any other meeting between Israel the Palestinians. Your biggest problem is that the audience that you attempt to persuade with your particular brand of mininformation is actually more intelligent than you are. I find it much easier just to block you and from this time forward, that is exactly what I am doing. You serve absolutely no credible reason to debate with since you really lack the resources to carry on a reasonable dialogue. Much the same will happen at the upcoming talks in Annapolis. It is very much a cultural thing with your people.

The Book That Can't Be Published In America

Books รข;; Why can't Zionism: The Real Enemy of the Jews be published in America? Short answer: Because Zionism does not want it to be; and all American publishers, the minors as well as the majors, are, apparently, too frightened of offending Zionism

The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine by Ilan Pappe

A Review

Ilan Pappe is an Israeli historian and senior lecturer at Haifa University. He's also Academic Director of the Research Institute for Peace at Givat Haviva and Chair of the Emil Touma Institute for Palestinian Studies. Pappe is an expert on Israel and Zionism and the Palestinians' Right of Return to their homeland, is considered "an honourable academic with integrity and conscience," and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Council for Palestinian Restitution and Repatriation (CPRR), an organization declaring that "every Palestinian has a legitimate, individual right to return to his or her original home and to absolute restitution of his or her property."

Pappe is one of Israel's "new historians" whose scholarship and writings are based on access to material now available from British Mandate period and Israeli archives that provide the most accurate and authentic documented history of Israel before and after it became a state and which now serve to debunk the myths about the years leading up to the Jewish State's founding and those following it to this day.

His latest book is the one this review covers in detail so readers will know about its powerful and shocking content, unknown to most in the West and in Israel. He proves from official records how the Israeli state came into being with blood on its hands from lands forcibly seized from its Palestinian inhabitants who'd lived on it for hundreds of years previously. Since the 1940s, they were ethnically cleansed and slaughtered without mercy so their homeland would become one for Jews alone.

The shameful result is that Palestinians then and today have almost no rights including being able to live in peace and security on their own land ...

They're targeted for extra-judicial assassination and indiscriminate killing; taxed punitively and denied basic services essential to life and well-being including health care, education, employment and even enough food and water at the whim of Israeli authorities in a deliberate effort to destroy their will to resist and eliminate those who won't by expulsion or extermination...

Concentration camps of over SEVEN MILLION Chrisians and Muslims??

WE don't even have seven million prisoners in ALL of our prisons. How could Israel keep seven million in concentration camps. (which is also a poor use of words when talking about Jews). is Amnesty international and the UN missing something??

Where are thry hiding them, in Atlanis??

I detecy just a tinge of a "Jew" hangup there..Just a little.

Yeah and Lyndon LaRouche is one of America's newest historians!!

The Concentration camps to which he refers are run by the UN, the PA and the Arab countries.

The 7 million Christians and Muslins include a lot of Muslim kids who were born in the Arab countries, those countries refuse to offer them citizenship. Israel has absorbed th 5 to 9 hundred thousand Jewish refugees that were driven out of the Arab lands. Reparations? Right to return? I don't hear any Arab offering it to them!
