"Even though we've prevented one terrorist attack, we know that there are still people in Denmark and abroad that have the capacity, the will and the ability to carry out terrorist attacks in Denmark," Jakob Scharf, the head of Danish intelligence, said in an interview in his office here.
He was referring to predawn raids on Sept. 4 that resulted in the arrests of eight suspects, two of whom are still in custody on terrorism charges and are accused of planning a bombing attack.

Subway bombs in England....
Riots in France.....
Train station bombings in Spain....
Terror rings in Germany.....
Violence in the Phillippines.....
Murders across Indonesia....
Unites States?....(crickets). Not one incident since 9/11. Not ONE.
Could it be it's because we're actually taking a stand and DOING something about it, via increased security measures, ferreting out terror cells overseas and gathering information in Afghanistan and Iraq? Yes, these not only could be the reasons, these ARE the reasons.
Thank you Bush Administration, Homeland Security and our troops, for keeping things safe and quiet since 9/11. I very much doubt John Kerry and his DumDumDemocratic think tank could have done the same.

What about the first Trade center attack, the 2 U.S. embassies blown up in Africa, the U.S. Cole attack, and the Khobar towers bombing? These all happened from 1990-1998 under a liberal president. Even though the Sudanese offered to give up Osama, Fat boy was to busy getting blown by a fat teenage intern to do anything to protect America.

Do you recall when Islamic extremists killed Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh? They burned down mosques in response. Interesting that we haven't heard of any backlash on the Dutch because of it. In fact, nothing happened! If the Danes are anything like the Dutch, I would expect a backlash from the people in a similar fashion.

Most Danes I know (which is pretty much everybody I know) are suspicious of the whole fish tale. They know that the White House has been issuing scores of National Security Directives (which have the force of law) whihc have effectively outlawed democracy, habeus corpus and all the rest of civil freedoms Americans take for granted - and in fact of law no longer have. And that many of these laws are classified and members of congress have been refused the right to read them for the fist time on history.
They know that the White House has been extending the tours of duty for all the military in Iraq and elsewhere so they cannot be deployed home.
They know that the White House has been predicting a "major terrorist event or events" in September.
They know that one of those NSPDs allows the Pres & VP to suspend the government in the case of ANY major natural or man-made disaster which could affect US interests anywhere on the world.
They are waiting for Americans to wake up.

What civil freedoms do Americans no longer have? The only thing that has changed for me, is now I have to remove my shoes before getting on a plane, and I can't bring gels or liquids on board. Oh yeah, and I now need a passport to go to Canada (like I would ever go THERE).
THAT'S IT! Nothing else!
Would you mind explaining to me the civil freedoms that George Bush and his administration have stripped from me? Because outside of a few increased security measures when at an airport, I'm as free - or freer - than I ever was.
And I'll say this - - if we would just ban Arabs from even THINKING of flying on an American plane, we wouldn't even need THOSE security measures. O.K., here it comes, angry comments of racism and negative votes, but we sure didn't need these measures before 9/11. And it ain't Caucasian Kindergarten teachers who are plotting to blow up planes.
