They cannot be involved because to bring them in would be to invite Sunni dominance as occurred under Saddam. Never forget that the vast majority of Iraqi's are Shia. They are separate from Iranian Shia because they are Arab Shia as opposed to Persian Shia as dominate in Iran. You would see Iraqi Shiite militias targeting soldiers from these nations the minute they set foot in the country.
The Sunni with only about 15% of the total population controlled Iraq for the past 30 years. The mechanism was the Baath Party and its Iron Fist. Now the Shias dominate through the democratic process. Yet the vast majority of the Middle East is Sunni. Apparently we lacked this general understanding when we invaded. So the question is how the majority Shia will rule Iraq when all of their neighbors to the West are Sunni (of one sect or another)? And without resorting to the backing of Tehran and the Iranian mullahs? Religion rears its ugly head once again.

clearly this was bush's fault. theres no way that muslims would be behind these shenanigans, that wouldnt fit into the left's agenda of destroying american ideals.

They have heard us all right. But not enough of us screamed to vote in a majority in both houses of Congress. Come '08, the scream will be loud enough to win both houses of Congress and the Presidency.

Is this one of the governors who is cooperating with our military in combating the foreign Al Quada terrorists during the surge? If so, then he was most likely targeted by Al Quada because of his association with us.

Hey, now that there's soon to be an opening there, perhaps old "W" should take the slot. I mean after all he was Guv' here in Texas for several years so he's got some experience under his belt, plus the fact that he's done a lousy job as POTUS here. Maybe the positions too much for him! Taking control of a bunch of insurgents couldn't be much harder than ruling over thousands of crazy Texas rednecks right? And after all, this is his "war" so it would show responsibility in taking charge of the whole affair. Rummys out of a job as well so he could be his second in command! Bring em on!

ACTUALLY he won a couple of Purple Hearts in 'Nam (and they don't just hand those out like candy, unlike Bush appointees)and in case you haven't kept up with fairly recent events; the 2004 election was STOLEN from Senator's Edwards and Kerry, darlin'. But don't you mind, just keep your head firmly embedded where it currently resides, as that IS the fave hangout for all Bushbots....:)
