thats what i said.
i live in a suburb of Dallas. i didnt see or hear anything, but hearing the news from it was pretty bad.
right before it happened, i was actually debating on taking my girlfriend to Dallas to eat. that would have sucked.

Most of these types of accidents are caused by human error. The type of equipment that caught fire has many built in safety features that humans seem to just have to override.

It wasn't natural gas. Most of the tanks were filled with acetylene. The plant is the source of acetylene tanks used in welding. They supply most of north Texas
The local news last evenings reported that the Dallas police sent a tactical team to the courthouse when the first explosion occurred. There is an anti-terrorism trial going on right now in Dallas - the Holy Land Foundation is accused of funding Hamas. The police thought the explosion might have been a diversionary tactic with an attack on the courthouse to follow

Who in hell "forced" Bush into invading Iraq? The jerk lied and made up BS stories, lied to the world and berated our long time allies about what was happening in Iraq to give himself an excuse to invade the country.
