I just caught the tail end of the news. If I heard this right, the Brits have arrested 3 Medical Doctors, including one who was the passenger in the Jeep which crashed into the Glasgow airport terminal.
What the hell are these people thinking? I must be massively underestimating the power of Islam. For a Medical Doctor to get involved in direct terrorist activities when the survival of the Doctor is highly doubtful, is mind opening.
Any person who finishes medical school is way above average IQ. Medical studies involve endless hours of rote memory work that must be embedded deep enough to be recalled years after learning. The level of personal sacrifice to complete the course of study is gigantic.
For a Doctor to throw all of his past out the window on some pin prick attack, with the fore knowledge that he may not survive says one thing about Islam to the West; these people are crazy. To defeat radical Islam, the West needs to buckle up for some serious bleeding.

Ubconfuse - You've just illustrated the #1 problem in our dealing with islam and arabs in general. Spend time in the middle east. They don't think the way we do. Doctor, lawyer, ditch-digger, teacher - doesn't matter. They do not value human life. They share nearly none of the West's values. It's a totally different set of mores. We keep trying to overlay our views on their actions, and it will get us nowhere.
Chief among the differences is this, by the former head of Mussad: ". . . they are willing to die for what they believe. I see no one in Europe or America who is willing to do the same."
Our news media is slowly helping to kill us by not reporting the news that illustrates our cultural differences. Our liberal-side thinking drives another nail in the coffin by continually advocating "understanding".

Anyone looking at the outcome of car bombs and other fatalities in Iraq or Afganistan and the anguish and despair on the faces of those affected will believe that human life is considered valuable. Believe me we will have to understand those who do not share or view of the world or a solution will never be found. We've done a poor job at it and have to get better.

UBC- "buckle up". If the 'defenders of Islam' don't finally kick in and start cleaning their own house, I'm afraid it's going to come to that. If it does (come to pass), someday, children will be reading: "There once was a great religion..." by candle light.

the london bombings were suspicious in nature and so is this fiasco.. i wouldn't be surprised if this has been staged to keep the hype on terror active.. how pathetic..
britain has a habit of arresting people and then they drop out of the news and are forgotten.. kind of like the detainees at gitmo.. our governments need investigating not all of these bogus terrorists.

"suspicious in nature" as opposed to what? A Non- suspicious bombing?
"i wouldn't be surprised if this has been staged"
Staged? So the flaming cars at the airport were not real? How exactly do you get a Doctor pour gas all over himself and light off?
Reply-

saintetienne1 year, 1 month ago
The bombings and flaming cars were NOT real. It's film footage from Al Gore's new documentary, "An Inconvenient POOF!", about what happens when the world refuses to be nice to Islamic fundamentalists.
Al's theory, you see, is to sell carbon credits to all the jihadists, which will help offset all the damage they do to local economies and the environment at large. But in order to barter in carbon credits (and for Al to take HIS cut, of course), we all need to be nice to the poor terrorists - - understand them, sympathize with their cause and sell them carbon credits. Only then can the world truly be at peace and the planet can be green again. And Al can get his cut.

No they didn't. There were no explosives at the hospital. A belt was removed from the driver of the car and as a precaution the police placed it in a safe location. The car and flat at the hospital have no reports of any explosives. You have been misinformed.

Mouthpiece for terrorists. It is always someone elses fault. You were humiliated by the poverty your own leaders have kept you in for decades and now you are ******ed. You can not say or do anything against your own government as they would kill you but it is ok to seek out innocent women and children on which to take out your frustrations.

Come on Peckerwood, call your shrink and tell him you are having those delusional thoughts again. I'm sure he can see you on an emergency basis. In the meantime, try turning off your computer and taking a cold shower. Oh, sorry, I forgot, you people don't shower. In that case, just go soak your head.

stein - how'd you get the power to run a computer in your dirt hut, or tent, or wherever you are? sunnys and shi--s were killing each other long before the US came along, say over 14 centuries worth. How do you explain that one? Oh - must be they're all murderous posers practicing a phony religion? Could be

England had an open border philosphy of letting radical mudscums in the country.
I get a lot of scam mail from england asking for money-I have called some of the people and they sound like arabs.
I guess we should be fortunate latinos are not radicals and only committ small bodily injury crimes.

Most of that scam e-mail comes from or by Nigerians - it's their national industry. 419 scams. Of course Stein thinks it is all a plot on the part of those sneaky, evil Jews to get money to finance the international Zionest plot to take over the world. He quotes directly from:"The protocols of the Elders of Zion" an unimpeachable sourse as is all his material.

You received spam mail from England asking you for money. And you spend your own money to call them. And you could tell from their voices that they sound like Arabs. And according to you "I guess we should be fortunate latinos are not radicals and only committ small bodily injury crimes."

Stein where does what you say fit in here?
Where did evelyna mention all the other countries? Where did I in my post?

I'll just tell them I am an "infidel" when they knock on my door sunday mornings at home here in CA.
When I was working in the Middle East, the only ones knocking on my door sunday mornings were either my muslim neighbor or muslim landlord wanting to know if I wanted a cup of their coffee. Which was so much better then what I could brew.
Oops noooooo, I meant to say they saw the way I dressed & wanted to stick me in a burka, drag me to a mosque & convert me!

"So incompetent as to be almost laughable." That's how former Scotland Yard detective John O'Connor described the botched UK bombings this morning on CNN. He also noted that it's probably wrong to refer to these guys as 'al Qaeda'
Looks like more fear ratcheting toward finding any possible excuse for the next war

Yep. Iran is next. According to Bush Ahmadinejad may/may not have the "bomb" (Does that sound familiar? Didn't we go through this with Saddam who may/may not have WMDs but didn't have them according to Inspectors and Dumsfeld's own admission after a yr into the war? ).
Now Ahmadinejad is going to use the "bomb" because he is looking forward to dying and getting 34, 67, 93 (random lottery #) of virgins when he dies.
Two problems I see is:
1. How can Bush know if Ahmadinejad has the "bomb"
2. If he has the "bomb" why hasn't he used it yet?
Sort of like some people claiming Saddam really did have WMD's. He had them but didn't use them when the war began?

UK bombers are a bunch of amateurs upset about the civilian deaths in Afganhistan & Iraq.
While their methods are questionable, their actions will be used to justify the next war in the Middle East. Both wars were unneccessary because Saddam had no WMD'S & BL would have left Afganistan even if he was there (big if, he was probably in Pakistan) once Bush announced the war.

Yet another supposed quote from out of nowhere - no source, no date, no nothing.
I wonder if you can find any similar quotes from people in the twin towers on 9/11? You know, something like "As I prepared to die, I realized that the whole building was falling because of faulty construction by Zionest Jewish contactors and GWB. I wondered how my life would have been different if I had lived in Gaza, the left bank, Iran or some other Islamic paradise?"

Ah yes. It's been my experience that those who really take care of business, seldom, if ever talk about it, but those who spent their OCONUS time in the company supply room, have tales of personal heroism that just won't quit. I run into them at VFW and AL meetings and Memorial Day services all the time (usually wearing lots of unauthorized scare badges and unearned rank and decorations) Wannabes!
The FBI just arrested one the other day in Los Angeles. Claimed to be a Major General with Silver Star, Bronze Star with V, Purple Heart w/OLC, JumpMaster's wings and CIB. It also turns out that he had been pratcing law in California without a license for the last 20 years - THERE IS A GOD!
