This comes just as Cheney is flip flopping on his argument that he is not part of the executive branch of government.

oversight they are at least attempting. lets hope thay can be effectual in some kind of enforcement.
if this guy is guilty of even a fraction of the constitutional disresepect that he has been accused of impeachment should not only be on the table, but it is the only responsible course of action.
we'll have to see what, if anything, the subpeona's produce, and how closely they are abided.

"Sooo nice! The new democratic congress is keeping its promise..."
So stupid, you mean.
The do-nothing Democrat Congress continues to accomplish absolutely nothing while spinning it's wheels over absolutely nothing. No wonder their "approval ratings" continue to lag well below Bush's. Might help if they actually kept their promise and tried to accomplish something on which they campaigned.
I haven't seen you post the approval ratings in a while, Aidenag. Is that because your boys are doing so poorly?

Vice President?
I am increasingly convinced that Dick Cheney is really the President and GWB is just his poodle.

It certainly seems that way.
The journalist doing the 4-part Cheney series for the Washington Post recently offered some insight on that:

Please, Tim, you are making Blair jealous! LOL!
Blair has so richly deserved the title of Bush's poodle that he will take an exception to being poodle of a poodle - sort of a grand poodle!
LOL!

Please, be kind to Nelson! He was just screwing his Secretary!
Shotgun Dickie is screwing the whole nation and most of the world. Now that his paymasters have moved to Qatar, he can claim a citizenship of that country and be off limits of the arms of our law, just like Michael Jackson!

Not in the least, but only people with your mentality are living fifteen years in the past and still whining about it because it's the best you can do. By the way, if you don't see a difference between lying about getting head, and killing thousands of people, deciding you aren't part of the executive branch (perhaps he could familiarize himself with Article II of the Constitution), and constantly supplying support for any idiot that will tell a lie to keep you out of trouble, meanwhile appointing the lottery commissioner to the Supreme Court Of the United States, I suggest you may not even be American. Either that, or it's time for you to change your blinders, they're getting a little sweaty from all the running you're doing trying to keep up with the rest of us. Read a newspaper sometime, it won't kill you.

Are you that stupid? Do you know how long it takes to start impeachment hearings? By the time Congress gets anywhere, Bush and Cheney will be out of office. Get over it already!

Hey, Cartman:
Well, if we can impeach Bill Clinton for lying about having "sex with that woman," then surely we can impeach Dick Cheney (and George W. Bush) for warrantless wiretapping (....not to mention the deaths of 3600 of our finest men and women)....at the very least!
And YOU need to get over it because the majority of the country is now p***ed and we are ready to get rid of these clowns....
