Excellent journalism by the Calgary Herald.
Below is some additional information...
Such as the complete omission of WTC7 from the 9/11 Commission Report, here's a few other bits to chew on... and there are many more.
1) FEMA, then NIST in more than 5 years have failed to give an official explanation for WTC7's 47 storey complete collapse into it's own footprint in 6.5 seconds, not damaging buildings only a few feet away (akin to aims of controlled demolition).
2) NIST's failure to report has resulted in them having to outsource to a third party (ARA) to concoct a reason for it's collapse, only took them 5 years to conclude that they were unable to... such expertise.
3) If it was common knowledge that WTC7 had to collapse (reported collapsed by the BBC 20 mins before it did), then why were members of the NYPD (Craig Bartmer and his saviors) nearly crushed when it did...

I agree. Those of us in the "blogosphere" have little to lose by speaking our mind. No editors to kill our stories. No one to fire us for upsetting the "powers that be". Everybody is important. Some people won't believe anything unless they see it in the MSM. If nothing else this gives the rest of us something to link to and we can add "We were trying to tell you this years ago!"

Mr Hearst admitted that he use his newspapers and other news outlets he own to release fake stories or lies during the U.S war against Spanish. Do you know what jetfuel is? Not much more than kerosene that you burn in a 'STEEL' KEROSENE heater for days on end with no melting or twisting of any kind.
Not only that when the planes hit most of the fuel was seen to explode.
I've seen the BBC broadcast where the woman is explaining that building 7 has collapsed with the building still in the background and if you watch video of building 7 collapsing it goes straight down yet it was supposed to have collapsed due to fire in one corner, surely if that was the case then it would have been weakened in that corner and toppled in that direction, not seemingly crack about a third of the way down the building and fall in on it's self.
Do these things not make you question the validity of the media and government stories?

How uninformed can you get!? The steel doesn't have to melt. Your heater has a regulated flame and temp. A couple miles upriver from WTC, there's a pile of I-beams that looks like a rusted bowl of pasta. The remains of a shipping pier - MADE OF WOOD - that burned decades ago.
The building didn't collapse into itself. It just looks that way in the views popular by conspiracy theorists. Most of it fell diagonally across Greenwich Ave - I WAS THERE AND SAW IT.

Don't believe anyone, believe your own eyes and the testimony. Why is it no spin dave or any of the other hash slingers can talk about this without getting into name calling? There are scientists that do not believe the governments story but how many are going to risk their jobs? even if you believe all the science why didn't the government include building 7 in their report. Why do none of you include the testimony of the buildings owner about pulling it?
Pulverized concrete, sorry no fire could do that. Way too many things to swallow the government story. You really don't need a tinfoil hat.

The steel and floor trusses were tested far in excess of the reported temperatures and burn times, they performed so well that NIST had to resort to a "black box" computer model to get their desired results.

most things built to modern engineering standards are four times stronger than they need to be. When buildings and other things on which human life depends are designed the engineering factor is even higher. That's why in a conventional deliberate demolishion of a building 3 out of four or more of building supports are cut mechanically before the rest are cut by blasting. A building with 50% of its structural strength should remain standing.

If you look around the cable news channels today, you don't have to wait too long before you will see a Rosie O'Donnell story. And she seems to be getting roundly slammed, most especially on FOX. But the other outlets got in the Rosie roasting too. And the internet is awash with Rosie blasting.
I wonder if Rosie ever thought that the entire mainstream media would be so terrified of her.

It is good that WTC 7 will finally start getting noticed.
The government has put out a doctored image of WTC 7 burning. Trouble is, we still have the undoctored shot and the damge is not there in the undoctored shot. The government also came up with a doctored video of Bin Laden bragging about 911. Our government's own top Bin Laden expert says its not the man in that video. This is some stand-in for Bin Laden, who in an earlier (valid) video had said he had nothing to do with 911.
What is going on?
Next topic after WTC 7: War games on 9-11-01, directly coordinated by our VP, which incapacitated our whole air defence system. Plus, the "stand down" order keeping the few remaining air force jets from intercepting the hijacked airliners.

A few questions.
1) Under normal circumstances how long would it take to prepare a 47 story building for a controlled demolition? I am guessing months, but do not know.
2) Is the story true that the owner of building # 7 told authorities on Sept. 11th that it would be best if his building was brought down this way? If so would this be possible in just a few hours which were beyond chaos?
3) What do experts in demolition say, was this a controlled "drop" or could it just fall like this?
4) Is there video out there showing the building coming down? If so please post.

Silverstein is the one who brought the attention to the public about bringing down WTC7.. If not for his remarks during that interview it may have just slipped by the public. OK, the question: How many people can be in on a conspiracy before it leaks out, is a good question. There is no question that conspiracies have occured in human history. The Senators who assassinated Julius Caesar didn't all show up at the same time and place by coincidence. Some members of the German Military faked a telegram in order to help start WWI.
Calling people conspiracy freaks isn't going to convince anyone who isn't already convinced. There are many questions left to be answered and an independent commission of scientists and statesmen is needed to address and answer them.

It is strange that so many people doubt Government Reports about the 9/11 tragedy and yet the Government doesn't do anything to dispel their doubts. Why is it so difficult for the Government to let the doubters and the non-doubters have a debate open to the public? Let the Government present their arguments and let others try to prove their point. Let the issue be resolved once and for all in the spirit of democracy.

Compartmentilizing the jobs needed to pull this off is the rule. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. It is just a matter of planning.
The Pentagon had a number of plans along these lines that have been made public.
A similar proposal to 911 was pushed at JFK called Operation Northwoods. JFK asked for the resignations of all the Generals involved. JFK was assassinated. The people behind his death are probably in control of this government today. I'm talking about Bush's puppetmasters.

How many people would it take to set up the demolition and explosives for an implosion of a building? I dunno. I also have to wonder why is it so many people question the government findings which shows such a lack of trust in that government, our government hasn't seemed to give us many reasons to warrant our trust. Questions should never be feared, unless of course you don't want to offer an answer. If something doesn't make sense, I would hope most people would ask questions, and expect answers.

Here's how I see it -
The government story: WTC47 was 35% gutted by falling debris and fires including ones fueled by diesel fuel in the basement weakened the structure enough to cause it to collapse.
The alternative story: It was pulled.
I watch the video, I see the building come down in pure symmetry with the center collapsing first just the way a demo expert would pull it to cause it to collapse in on itself.
My view: If the structure was weakened in some manner by random fires, it would probably be weakened in some random fashion. Some parts would be weaker than other parts and it would most likely collapse in a non-symmetrical fashion. The chances that random weaking would cause all 4 corners of the buiding to fall (actually free fall) at exactly the same time are very unlikely. I would probably stand a better chance of winning the lottery. It was pulled.
