Those included more than 100 charges each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors; more than 200 counts of aggravated indecent assault; and nearly 400 counts of indecent assault.

Prosecutors accused Thomas of sexually assaulting his victim, now 20, from 1994 to 2004. Charges were filed in March 2006.
Thomas testified he weighed 430 to 530 pounds at the time and had health problems, including four heart attacks. He also said spinal injuries would have made it impossible for him to commit the crimes.
((This is just shocking-971 times)) WTF!! Of course he is a ""sexually violent predator""

Contrary to the movies that is not as common as it use to be, unless it is a case that has lots of media coverage and has hit someone in the prison personally.

yesitstrue: Good point! Baby rapers are the lowest of the lowest in general population, and other inmates will dish out the appropriate punishment. It won't be pretty.

Sadly this isnt even close to a 'record'. I had a friend in Hs that was raped or assualted DAILY by her father and her mother took polaroids. I found this out years later at the Sheriffs Dept after seeing the hundreds of photo albums.She only came forward after her father got her pregnant and she feared her daughter would have the same fate.

At the current rate of conviction if all child predators were locked up (as they should be) they could start their own support club (gang) and share bedtime stories.

I agree...something is not right. I tried googling him and the county, etc. and found no record. was the girl related to him? He did he have access to her so many times? I would think she could run faster than he can. I am not saying she made it up....especially if he was convicted by our court system. By the way, there is also a Clarence Thomas, age 56, supreme court justice. Is this story for real? Granted, I only googled for about 7 minutes. (Have to get five teenagers off to school!)

Predation doesn't always involve what is generally considered "sex". Corruption of a minor could be showing pornographic pictures.

Victimization is it's own form of brainwashing. Running away isn't always an option. Abused women and children often can't "escape" the situation. No one should have to try and escape things like that anyway.

Could you please advise the U.S. Military and their "Leaders" in D.C. that the U.S.A. is not the World's Policeman nor is it the World's Social Worker. Funniness aside, I agree with you NelsonR. This ..person.. (Alfonso Rodriguez, Jr ) kidnapped, raped and murdered a young girl (Dru Sjodin). He was sentenced to death ('06). The saddest part of the story - 3 months before this crime he had been released from prison after serving 25! years for raping a 17yr old. If you can't change after 25 yrs, there is absolutely zero hope for you.

Intimidation folks. A child can easily be intimidated by a person of that size. I'm sure he had his ways of getting hold of her. You have no idea how many tricks these sleaze balls have. I hope they pick up the jail and throw him under it. He doesn't deserve to see the light of day again. Maybe they could put him on a diet of pig slop and he could lose some of that excess wait, oh wait a minute pig slop is supposed to make them gain weight--oh well you know what I mean.

Imagine a child with a gun to their head or knife to the throat being told they will be killed or their loved one will if they tell. Imagine living in fear of a parent being killed if you told.....my kids lived it in the 70's when you didn't know what a pedophile wife abuser was.
This keeps a child quiet about it and a family lives in fear of beatings from intimidation.

Anita Hill warned us of Clarence Thomas well over a decade ago. Why couldn't we listen then and saved another young girl's plubic hair from being strewn from Brookville to the Supreme Court.
Actually, I am making light of this story because I suspect that that is all it is. I live 10 miles from Brookville, and our local paper seems to have ignored that case--if there really is one. Did someone just want to remind us of Clarence Thomas' perfidy and sexual appetites.
