Peace chickenhawks! If they really want to make a difference they all need to go to Baghdad and Ramadi and hold candlelight vigils.

BoBo in Texas,

I don't think people who stand up for their convictions are chickens, but calling peace activists chicken at least has some kind of twisted logic to it. But hawk? How are they hawks? Haven't you heard yet that they are against war? And why should they go to Baghdad or Ramadi when they think that America has no business there?

They are Hawks for Peace. I use the term generically. These Hawks for Peace need to go to where the problem as they see it is and actually do something about it. I'm certain that candles and songs of peace will soften the hearts of even the most commited Jihadi. If they aren't willing to do so then they are chickenhawks.

The reasoning is exactly the same as is used when those who support the war are called chickenhawks.

But they are where the problems as they see it is, and they are doing something about it.

Love you hon! Too much labelling and if the Iraqis invaded my country I would fight them too. The US is all about Imperialism....corporate greed and shareholders B.S.

Keep up the fight. We protest here in Canada as well and unfortunately we have a pro bushite guy in power who is just itching for a majority...then he can do what he wants

These so called Mass protests were a failure At every site that had a pathetic excuse for a demonstration, no more than 1000 people were on hand, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA thats funny , the left says everyone is tired of everything going on in Iraq but they cant even get people to show up and protest HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, good work guys i knew you didnt have it in you.

so..."PatrioticAmerican"...

only thousands of people showing up for a peace demonstration...hummm, i wonder...

where are all the pro-war demonstrations?

pro war demonstrations ?????, we dont need to Demonstrate, we dont want war but we are not going to bitch and whine about the fact that wars HAPPEN , if you want peace you have to have war, Peace brings war its always been like that and always will be, those who think things can be settled by talking are the ones that war is made against because they are precieved as weak and can be taken over by force. Wait, weak and talkers, Sounds like i just described the left side of the isle here in America.

Those are possibly some of the most goofy and wrong ideas I've seen here - and there's lots goofy stuff here. Are you prepared to sacrifice your life, or the lives of your children for THIS war?! Not a war on terror, as we've been misled, since we're throwing gasoline on the war on terror - this action in Iraq - you're prepared to die for THAT dishonest cause? Sometimes a war is just & justified - this is hardly that sort of situation. Mindless lemming-like obedience is what dishonest politicians BANK on. No left, No right: just obeyers VS thinkers. Soldiers need to obey, citizens in a democracy need to think

yes if called to do so i would die for Peace no matter what the means was, and yes i would ask my family to do the same , because unlike the left i love this country, and i support the troops , and if my dying helps then so be it.

You're commendably patriotic and brave, to be sure. It would be a shame - no, a TRAGEDY, for anyone's children to die for lies. I cannot, personally, endure seeing wonderful young lives snuffed out for what I fear are invalid reasons. It's thoroughly proven that the war was/is an unjust cause, and we Americans were lied to, and all info subsequent has been a scrambling effort to rationalize that which is patently unrational.
