Posted by: STONERS 1 year, 7 months agoA federal jury awarded $16 million to a Jewish man who claimed that Palestinian groups backed a terrorist attack in Israel in which he was injured, but he could get triple that amount under a law allowing U.S. citizens to sue organizations involved in overseas terrorism.

After the Palestinian defendants defaulted by not defending themselves, a federal jury heard evidence this week and returned the $16 million verdict. But under the overseas terrorism law, that amount will likely be tripled to $48 million.
"Justice is served," said Saperstein's wife, Rachel Saperstein. "Now, the fight begins."

So who pays for these? I highly doubt the PLO etc. will be paying up. And $16 million for a hand injury? Seems excessive...oh wait, add on emotional stuff. How can you go to the Mideast and not be aware of the possiblity of injury? If it was the US paying up and I was an American, I'd be ticked:D

Good. I hope that Palestinians that have been harmed by Israel get their day in court too. Oh wait, they usually don't live.

Maybe if he and the others suing can get enough Palestinian assets, the Palestinains will have to stop killing each other due to lack of funds. Think of all of the lives saved.
