  -Pizza Patron proclaims on its Web site that "to serve the Hispanic community is our passion."-

  So, all you non-hispanics out there, we feel rather lukewarm about serving you.

  Eh.

  Hey, maybe someone can open a chinese place where the website can say "to serve the European community is our passion"

    Bah, no, I do not eat at any chain pizza place. :)

    I feel that a sign of the sort that they have is needlessly and deliberately exclusionary.

    I would feel the exact same way no matter what ethnicity were preferred.

    However, if a company decided to put up a sign preferring white customers, it would be widely condemned.

    Here, showing a preference for Hispanic customers is just a business catering to their customers.

    Nice double standard, there.

  They should then accept every other currency otherwise they are giving preferencial treatment to the mexican people and its currency in other words they are discriminating against other cultures and currencies .

  Hell - I think it's a great marketing ploy to generate more revenue for the chain and in this day and time that is the name of the game.

  Those that are making death threats are being just plain stupid as this is capitalism at its very finest. Find a market niche and move into it!

  This discussion is so godd**n stupid. We should accept Canadian, Mexican, and Euro to pay for anything offered for sale. God ... grow up already!!
