New Orleans police lined up "like at a firing range" and fatally shot an unarmed man in the back as he fled from them in the days after Hurricane Katrina swept ashore, a witness to the shooting told CNN.

this is a horrible thing, but a re-tred... the officers are being investigated and the family has been interview numerous times on local and national television. what really needs to happen here is a us attorney's office investigation and not just another round of interviews complaining about a policeforce that was in the middle of the worst disaster to hit a major american city since the civil war.

or... this is even more horrible since this is the second case of an un-armed man being shot for what appears to be no reason other than a freaked out cop in a really bad situation and a couple of people looking for help in the same situation

I thought if someone was running away from a cop, the cop was only supossed to shoot them so they couldn't run any more, not kill them (It's good to know cops have so much power over the law LOL)
