It seems that Italian Mafia and Russian Mafia are in cahoots now. Or, is Japanese Mafia trying to get rid of their Italian and Russian competition?

Okay, this is nuts. Why use radiation? Hello? Half-life? Permanent evidence? Are the Russian's morons?

"If you speak your mind on the Vatican, on the Catholic Church, on the Pope, on the Virgin Mary or Jesus or the saints, nobody touches your 'right of thought and expression.' But if you do the same with Islam, the Koran, the Prophet Muhammad, some son of Allah, you are called a xenophobic blasphemer who has committed an act of racial discrimination. If you kick the ass of a Chinese or an Eskimo or a Norwegian who has hissed at you an obscenity, nothing happens. On the contrary, you get a 'Well done, good for you.' But if under the same circumstances you kick the ass of an Algerian or a Moroccan or a Nigerian or a Sudanese, you get lynched."

There are too many coincidences for comfort.

The guy betrayed the trust of the power-brokers in Russia.

Russia is said to have a loose control over its nuclear inventory.

I will wait to see how far the investigations are allowed to go and I will check their report (if any becomes public and makes sense).

I do not consider Putin an example of a democratic leader (in the same way I distrust Hugo Chavez) at least following the "commonly accepted" democratic standards in the west.

I simply wouldn't be surprised if Putin's direct orders were involved in these poisonings nor will be either if the poisonings are the handywork of any organization in charge of keeping him in power.

Every time and again the "...absolute power corrupts absolutely" thought is proven right.

I think this is all a plot by the British to increase worldwide awareness of the new James Bond movie and make loads of money.

it's to stinkin obvious to be the russian gov't. somebody is trying to make it look like the russian gov't, but, i'm pretty sure they could get a message across without having to use a radioactive material. too easy to track,

if the russian gov't did want these people to dissapear, we wouldn't even know anything about it.

Ah so you think its not the Russians but someone trying to make it look like it is the Russians, but what if it is the Russians trying to make it look like it is not the Russians trying to make it look like the Russians trying to make it look like the Russians trying not to make it look like it is the Russians or not.

Definishion: Spy - someone who works in another country to gain secret information and transfer it securely to the country he/she lives for.

Question: Why would a spy, someone who has a knowledge about the most secure data transferred tells the world about it. Stupid... If you are a spy and tell it to one person -- you are a dead meat.

And why would spies discuss their safety over the internet? Imagine that e-mail... "hey man... I was spying for that country for the whole my life and now they want to kill me. bastards... They will probably kill you too man". I dont believe that. Im not a politician but know that those organizations - ... doesnt matter what country- KGB, CIA, NS (national security) do dirty work. Imagine one thing....CIA would find out about 9/11 flights in the last minute... What would they do? ...Answer--- they would give the order to shut down those airplanes... That makes sence... Kill 300 of US and non US civilians and save 2000.
