The Brits are saying the war in Afghanistan is spiraling out of control, we are bogged down in Iraq, where we didn't need to go in the first place, and dubya says everything is just peachy keen. suuurrre.

I think you're right, he loves Bush and did his best to make Bush a popular President.

From article: "Looking relaxed and sporting a brown suit and orange tie, General Musharraf proved an unusual hit on the late-night Daily Show with Jon Stewart, managing to get through his 15 minutes of comedy fame without looking too uncomfortable." Very true as I saw the program.

One question from Jon Stewart was: "Where is Osama? Musharraf answered "I don't know> Do You? We'll follow you if you know." Got a good laugh on that one.

We should have never lost focus on Afghanistan, the war in Iraq is wasting our resources to locate and capture the main character in this whole thing: Osama

He was also very good on the Daily Show!! I thought what a wonderful articulate President of Pakistan!

((The general complained that Western countries had sometimes been slow to share intelligence because they "think we are some kind of backward people".))

He has every right to complain about our intelligence, they didn't even listen to own people warning about the Arab pilots learning to fly but not land!! Out Human Intelligence is a failure...

I guess that's why we're not focusing on Afganistan, makes sense if we don't want to capture Bin Laden. I think if we do find him, it will only make things worse for the Bush Administration since he didn't bomb the towers. I would just look for who has profited most since 9-11 because if you follow the money it usually shows who's committed the crime. Bush and his neo con handlers obviously did! Which gets more and more obvious each day he lies thru his teeth. Somebody smack him for me!

I would take what Musharraf has to say with a grain of salt..I have no evidence but..keep in mind the war of words that has been going on between Afganistan and Pakistan..neither wants to be the country accused of hiding UBL..Musharraf has made alot of comments lately that he cannot back up..My question is..if he is so confident and the area is so well known..why dont they go take UBL

Our President explains his failure to capture Bin Laden by saying that he is no longer a priority....so why should we care. If they wanted to catch a 6 ft. 3 in. man who needs kidney dialisis in a stone age area with no medical services populated by tiny, undernourished heroin poppy farmers, they would have done so long ago. I have a theory that they will "find" him right before the election!! We'll see.

Re: Jon Stewart and Musharraf: That was one of the BEST interviews I have ever seen!!! Sure beats K-K-K-Katie's "Condi, how DOES someone ask the Secertary of State out on a date??" Maybe Jon should occupy Walter's seat!!

Of course Bin Laden is alive this admin..has played the greatest bait and switch in history...whatever his issues were-Sadam did not plan or execute 9/11-Bin Laden did..Bush never went after Bin Laden seriously-in fact, while I was sitting at an airport, stranded from my family-with millions of other Americans & travellers...medical flights were grounded!! Bin Laden's family is being comfortably flown away from any potential investigators...Why!!! Why haven't we found Bin Laden-afterall we can find a golfball from space, so again it begs the question why....Possibly because-The former president, the father of President Bush, worked for the bin Laden family business in Saudi Arabia through the Carlyle Group, meeting with them at least twice. The terrorist leader Osama bin Laden had supposedly been "disowned" by his family, which runs a multi-billion dollar business in Saudi Arabia and was a major investor in the senior Bush's firm. Other reports have stated...Continued...

Of course, everybody knows that Dumbya has been hunting him in the wrong country for years!
