Stories like this only fuel the fire for Muslim-Americans to be racially profiled. It is sad it really is.

People make choices. Joining Al-Queda and planning to kill thousands of people...???

This man must pay for his participation in a terrorist criminal conspiracy and for his part in planning acts of terror that would amount to crimes against humanity.

Had they poisoned reserviors in Baltomore /DC area how many thousands would have died? Had they blown up POL facilities how many thousands would have died? Tens of thousands? Hundreds of thousands?

Is it not a bit irresponsible for a paper that serves the DC/Baltimore metro area to NOT point this out in the article? Perhaps that could have been the FOCUS of the article? Forgive me but aren't news stories supposed to start with the most important part first and then get to the minutia?

Instead we get a bleeding heart human interest story about a terrorist? A story eliciting sympathy for his plight?

More fish wrap from the Washington Post.

Why do people continue think that they really know what someone is capable of based on their limited contact and how that person chooses to present themselves to them?

The POWER OF SUGGESTION is a monumental thing. When we are influenced by what we read/see that seems to be exciting to an otherwise dull life, we will hook onto anything. Sad though it is, some people are very easily influenced - thus the phrase "POWER of suggestion."

No where in this story does it say that he was a member of any terrorist organization. He came to this country as a political refugee, went to Pakistan to get married and then dissapeared.
