Do you know why Netscape will fail? Because it is only being used to support Weblogs, Inc.!

Look at who voted on the stupid "Fish story" http://science.netscape.com/story/2006/08/29/freakin-fish-frightening-or-phony

and then who voted on thi story (making money off a tragedy no less)

    http://donoevil.netscape.com/story/2006/08/29/24-hour-blogathon-in-honor-of-katrina/#comments

They are both NOT news stories but suddenly make the front page!

This is bull honkey! Let Netscape users push stories to the main page, not Weblogs, Inc.! If you think this isn't true, look at each memeber's profile and who they have voted for.

    Ooooh! Shocker!

I give this site another 6 months .... TOPS! before it falls off the charts!

Bush has been to New Orlenas 13 times since Katrina. Has anyone seen a shovel in his Hand? Answer is no, but he sure can shovel the S**T down those poor peoples throat. Oh, the "Jewel of the City"?? The SuperDome is up and running, but citizens of New Orlenas are still using Port-A-Potties. That where Bush's B.S> is!!

Sorry, Bush doesn't pay my house note...why should he rebuild their homes! It's THEIR responsibility to get off their arses and get themselves a toilet! This is what happens when people make the choice to NOT carry insurance! If the government is going to bail them out and rebuild all their houses...why should ANYONE carry insurance?

Nice attitude A**hole" Did you ever think maybe the insurance cvlaims aren't being paid because some jerk declared it a Natural disaster. May the Bird of Paradise fly up your nose and an elephant caress you with its toes and you have to take acrap in public because a Hurricane wiped you and your outhouse away. i assume from your attitude you don't have indoor plumbimg

mat347, when you are right you get responses from freeloaders like web 1. Probably a check collector.

web 1, maybe some jerk did not get insurance, so no claim should be paid. If I live in the desert should I carry flood insurance? I know if I live near water, I would make sure I am insured properly.

When Ivan hit a while ago, I had a flood in my basement all the way up here in the NorthEast and I am no where near water. Too much rain and runoff. I asked my insurance company about it and they said I did not have coverage for it. So, should I get money from them anyway? Well, I did not. I fixed my basement and went on with my life. Not looking for a handout here.

Spike Lee, if you are looking for answers about the levies just ask the good Mayor Ray Nagin and the democratic Governor. They acted so poorly that the residents of NO. had to suffer and endure an horrific experience of Pain, Suffering and even Death, do to there inability to react to this crisis. Ray was hiding in the Hyatte hotel while his family was safe in Texas, the Governor who knows where she was hiding. The fact is, they did not help the residents of NO. when they needed it. Spike, you can take advantage of this disaster and make your money, but put the light on the problem, Ray Nagin and the Governor.

Each should be able to give an accounting of the status of the NO Levies, who is running the city and state. If you were really intersted in finding the truth, which I doubt, just ask Ray and the Governor, they are experts at BS.

                Sincerely,

Dont be racist! Just blame the black guy. Then those poor good for nothing africans cant say it was the white man again. Forget those spear throwing africans if they cant have the same thing I have because their parents were busy in the fields working for my great grandparents. What nerve they have thinking that we should help them, who cares if we enslaved them! They should know better than to listen when told a better way of life exists in a different country only to be beaten with whips and hung from trees!

Oh Im sorry, that was my conservative side coming out. Please forgive me.

Depending upon whom you ask, Clarence Ray Nagin is a tough-talking hero who appropriately skewered the federal government's tardy response to Hurricane Katrina, or a bumbling greenhorn mayor who failed to properly evacuate New Orleans' poorest residents.
