Aug. 17, 2006, 4:29 p.m.Dubya said that the terrorists "hate our freedom". Apparently, so does he. He has made us LESS safe and LESS free. Thanks to the federal judge who still believes in our Constitution, Dubya's dictatorial powers will be limited.

Aug. 17, 2006, 9:54 p.m.I want to point out something. I used to work in the area of helping the government doing call traces and monitoring calls. It was all to protect society and prevent people from getting hurt. We only did this to suspected phone numbers in lists provided by the Government and those were individuals that government had reasonable concern to go for. Some of these lists were made and implemented minutes after events like the OK City bombing and the Atlanta Park Bombing ... and guess who the President was ... Clinton.
This has been done for a long time and by both Dems and Reps. It is not being done to subvert the rights of Americans it is being done to protect them ... and it does a pretty good job of doing so .... because there are other events I was involved with during my time that never happened and thank God for that.
