Even with the best hearing aids, I can't hear Steve Case offering to share the billions od dollars he pocketed with the stockholders he screwed out of $200 billion in share value.

If you go back and look at all the press on this merger, you will see that almost everyone said this was a bad idea and that the numbers being presented didn't add up. Now, Case is saying that AOL should be split from Time Warner. Once again he is making a bid mistake - he can't stop himself, so don't listen to the second one. AOL is nothing without the content that Time Warner can offer if they just figure that part out.

Lol! I wondered whether Jason would vote for this story or not. I wasn't sure if it would be politically correct for him to do so or not.

Rumors were flying a couple of years ago that Steve Case was wanting to buy AOL back from Time Warner but that Dick Parson

s was not interested in talking.

Always bad deal to take firm with an expertise, to only be swallowed up by a multi media outlet.

The article make you wonder if this is about ethics, or the money?

I have AOL as my ISP and it is horrible. I don't think Steve Case buying it back from Time Warner will make any difference and it is too late to reverse the effects the mereger. So why feel bad about the merger when he made out like a bandit?
