July 12, 2006, 11:36 a.m.Why are the US churches the only ones talking about taking their money out of Israel? This Government needs to stop funding and supplying Israel with war munitions. Stop the billions of taxpayer dollars given to them. Instead of going after Iran or Korea, let's try controlling Israel. Oh that's right, Sharon said he owns us.

July 12, 2006, 11:54 a.m.Israel has every right to defend itself, and in my opinion is going about it properly.To not respond forcefully would be a terrible mistake. Let's all remember that the countries surrounding Israel, all feel that Israel should be burned to the ground and the people within its walls exterminated. A political response or no response at all, would simply be a sign of weakness and the violence against the Israeli people would only escalate. I ask , How would you feel if the people on the block behind yours decided to lob a rocket into your home, How would you feel? How would you react?

When and where did Israel receive: “ a get out of jail free†card. And why is critique of Israel anti-Semitic. The world better up, cause the Jews will lead them into armageddon in persuit of their own self interest. Wake up America! Let the Jews live free in their space, un molested by any; but please stop their molestation! The Jews are living in the political stone age! They scream human rights and democracy in America, and commit slaughter, genocide and homicide in their own land.

July 12, 2006, 1:11 p.m.They've always had a problem (Jews)...ask anyone...why is it they've been kicked out of every country they ever lived in?
I believe it's because they will NEVER assimilate themselves into the society they're living off of...hold themselves up as different and holler and yell when, in times of stress, the local society picks out people different from them for persecution. I say let Israel stay intact - I don't want them in MY back yard...they never have learned to get along with any of their neighbors...maybe that's why the US goverment supports them so highly...maybe they don't want them here...how do we separate the American people who DON'T support them from the American government who seem to have been blackmailed by them somehow...a good example is the USS Liberty - they attacked and tried to sink it, killing 30+ US
sailors and our government will not allow them to be tried for it, or accept any apology or compensation for victims...it's like tough crap; some Americans died...

July 12, 2006, 1:17 p.m.The Israeli's bought the presidncy for Junior George on the condition that he would invade a middle east country and ensure that no ArabCountry or Iran would dare creat problem for Israel while once and for all, they deal with Palestine, and Israeli's promised him, that they will creat a situation where he will have the excuse to invade, even without any other nation (911 fiasco). Unfortunately, it has all gone bad, and now Israel has to act, but Middle east is not like before, they are far more powerful and theer is no more fear of the west. May Israel be thanful for what they are about to recieve.

Cowards who think it is OK to kidnap people and hold them for ransom and then kill them would make good muslims or at least their supporters. Israel ought to put a 1000 to 1 value on their soldiers.. you kill 1 of ours, we kill 1000 of yours.. Historically that is the only language the followers of Allah have ever undestood. They consider negoiations to be a sign of weakness, and only force enough to destroy them earns you their respect.

I'm sure they can tell you. There is more in the last few hundred years I'm sure. This has been going on for 3,000 years. 3,000 years ago it was more or less desert very few poeple. Starting around 1200 BCE, a series of Jewish kingdoms and states existed intermittently in the region for more than a millennium. Roman Empire resulted in the large-scale expulsion of Jews.
Both the League of Nations's 1922 Mandate for Palestine and the 1947 UN Partition Plan supported the aim of Zionism: the establishment of the Jewish national homeland in the Land of Israel. The UN General Assembly Resolution 181 (November 29, 1947) So as far as the world is concerned this is thier country and have a right to defend it. It is just a very few countries and groups that are fighting to take Israel back. Most of those have problems with everybody anyway.

July 12, 2006, 1:45 p.m.Look. I love the Jews, They have wonderful traditions and same with the muslims. But I am sick and tired of the my land your land crap. This happened in 800 B.C We were defeated and oersecuted in 900 AD blah blah blah Enough. Get along treat each other with dignity and learn to appreciate each others way of life. I mean it's really getting rediculous now!!!! If they didn't have weapons it would be funny. I'm sick of listening to them. At this point, I hope they kill each other off we would all be better off!!!!!!!! I mean neither side seems to have any intention of embracing peace.

It so easy to come up and say anything years after the event, Even today, the only Dem. Senator to back Bush, is a Jew, Jr has done EVERYTHING that jews/Israel wanted, but I believe that it has backfired, and in the next few month, if not weeks, we will see what happenes, the invasion of Lebenon was wrong.

How many times have the Israelis inflicted large amounts of destruction and damacge to those Muslim countries. I think that the Muslims will never respect the Jews or the Christians, because people of those religions are the infidels because they follow those religions. The Muslims are tought that Their Prophet was talking to God because he was disgusted with the way Christianity and Judeism turned out, and that Islam was the true way that he wanted his people to follow his religion. The Muslims will never change and we as the Westernworld are jsut going to have to live with that.

Both nations DO posses nuke, granted its nothing like what the west has, but they also know, that Russia and China will NOT stand idle and let the west do what they want. And as far as running and hiding, listen jackass, USA is NOT fighting an army, they are fighting a group of people who are being financed by Arabs, and it suits the Arabs that this conflict to go on slowly, but surely, USA will be left with no option but to tuck its tail between its leg and leave. I fear what will happen, when USA leaves, ofcourse, we can deduct and assume what we want.

Russia doesn't posses the power it once had during the Cold War to stand up against the West. China may have the military to stand up against the west, but its economy relies to heavily on the USA, or the rest of the West for that matter. We control their economy and the West coulod potentially destroy their economy if they wanted to.
