FBI Busts 'Real Deal' NYC Terror Plot Aimed At Underground Trains »
Posted by: JimEspo 2 years, 1 month agoTerrorists target not just the tunnels, but the trains, in fact the whole underground transportation system in New York City including the NY/NJ PATH Train system. Goals included disrupting the economy and flooding the City ala New Orleans.

July 7, 2006, 4:40 p.m.Romeo posesses the exact arrogance and indulgence in the self-promoting and politicizing of a non-political issue into a hurtful and destructive comment about his fellow Americans. It must be hard to believe that liberals are Americans; Americans who are very happy to hear that a terrorist plot has been foiled. Liberals serve in Iraq, liberals died in the 9-11 attacks, liberals serve in Dept of Homeland Security...so do conservatives. Romeo has displayed that there is no way good news can be celebrated with by a Republican. He'd rather denegrate.
This is a typical display of someone who's incredibly self-conscious and dissatisfied with himself, his President, and his own view on the world around him. This is the guy in High School who made fun of underlings just to puff out his chest. I was the guy (jock, BTW) who usually stood up for the weak guys. It's amazing I'm a Democrat and he's a Republican. Who could've seen that coming?

July 7, 2006, 4:52 p.m.We do not know if it is real or imaginary. Remember the others Detroit, Buffalo, & Portland among others. All turned out to be a product of the imagination w/o facts. Don't believe anything these guys say unless you know what the facts are. Read up on how the Nazis took power in Germany and you will see remarkable parallels with the actions taken today.

Detroit- A terrorist cell turned out to be 4 guys filming their vacation at disneyworld. Another so called terror cell training was a paint ball game. Just because people are Arabs, Black, etc.., does not make it true.

Liberals and Conservatives and everybody in between died in the 9/11 attacks and something tells me that if this plot had been sucessful, the same thing would have happen again. Clin-toris did jack squat for our security; mind you it wasn't in immediate danger after the Gulf War (thanks alot George Sr., whom I think is the real cause of all this; GWB is trying to finish what his father never did, and he at least started off well enough,) but you're right. And 2000 Democrats never once mentioned the now-known problem, Al-Qaeda. I'd even go so far as to say on a very mild level, your first idea was right (Liberals dancing in the streets, etc.,) but the way you put it went a little far. No man would rightfully want another man killed to prove a virtually moot point.
Ajradio, you said that it's impossible for a Republican to celebrate good news. Yet at the same time, that was the ONLY TIME you mentioned the good news, and not exactly in a "celebratory" manner. These people have got to be the most miserable people around. Can't stand anything good happening to this Country. They count our dead with glee. What is good for this Country is bad for liberals. What surprises me is the NYT's didn't leak this story and warn the bad guys.

We settled this country as Christians and we welcomed all who wanted to blend in and make a mighty Nation with us.
Well, the Muslims obviously don't see it our way and are showing it by killing us. Not only here in America, but in France, Spain, Great Britian, Greece, Italy, Malaysia, the Phillipines, Russia where they killed all those school children, who knows where else.
Muslims are literally stuck in the 10th. century in their beliefs, attitudes, character, they way they treat women, and people not of the Muslim faith. They are NOT good world citizens and we here in America need to stop putting up with their little hissy fits and get rid of them.
You cannot extend Christian charity to them, they will chop off your hand.
All Muslims should be sent back to the Middle East and left to kill off themselves, as they WILL do.

This is our country and we were founded as a Christian nation, not Muslim. They obviously don't like our system and they show it by trying to kill us. They don't belong here. We need to change some laws and send them back to where they came from.
If the Germans all of a sudden started doing what the Muslims are doing, how long do you think it would take before all Germans were deported?
Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims.

July 7, 2006, 7:21 p.m.Wow! That discussion got ugly really quick! As a moderate, I find it interesting that fthisbud states that all terrorists are Muslims. Timothy McVeigh was no Muslim. He was a good, God-fearing Christian. This point is only made to show that religion can stand for good things, or bad things, depending on the people who practice them. Does it seem that the Muslims are all radicalized? Of course it does, because many of them are. They are manipulated by their leaders into thinking that their only solution to any problem is to blow it up. And like it or not, folks, the USA hasn't exactly been "fair and balanced" in it's dealings in the Middle East, going back generations. This is not a "liberal" or "conservative" policy. It is US goverment policy, going back to "that guy from Missouri", as Barret put it. We need to defend ourselves - there is no question of that. But we also need to realize that we as a nation are partially responsible for how the world views us.
