July 3, 2006, 11:09 p.m.I think all casino's should be shut down. Because some people dont know when to stop and it's the children of these stupid people who have to suffer. It's additive and it's senseless how people THROW money away on it. SENSELESS AND STUPID. Shut them all down.

July 4, 2006, 10:42 a.m.I see that the NJ government is allowed to keep state employees on with no pay until the matter is resumed...how about the politicians stay on until the matter is resumed? Its their work that was not completed. Maybe putting in some overtime during the holidays would be the right thing to do...the politicians do have a responsibility to the tax payers, and the tourists that have planned vacations in their state.
Sit down, do your job and when it is done, then you can go home.

July 5, 2006, 5:02 p.m."We get the government we deserve." Proven true once more. Corzine gets in bed with the unions -- who bent over backwards to get him elected. The legislature will never give up their triple dipping and no-show patronage jobs for their friends and relatives. How many so-called public servants in NJ are wealthy on their own yet still take "double or triple dips" of the pension and benefit system? How many so called essential state workers pad their pensions with false overtime reports? How many state workers got their jobs from a political connection? And, the regular working-stiff taxpayers of the formerly great state of New Jersey take it on the chin again. 65,000 were smart enough to leave last year. It will be interesting to see how many depart by the end of this year.

July 5, 2006, 5:33 p.m.Thanks Governor, I'll bet the N.J. bus drivers are working overtime. Our Native Americans friends at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun always did a better job at keeping me entertained anyhow. They will be the big winners of this political war.
